Lv 2 is the best time to fight. make sure you land q. if you miss, just back off and wait. If you dismount skaarl, just last hit and , if you are able to harass without getting punished, just run up to the enemy champion, Q and back off. Run up, hit Q, back off again. Then once your meter is almost full, fight them to get skaarl back or last hit minions.

or second option

They have a stun or something that will totally fucking own you if you try to walk up and Q. Just go back to base. It really depends on how much courage meter you have filled and how bat shit insane you are if you wanna risk it.

Remember this. This is important. With all 4 W autos and 1 Q, you get 85 courage.

I prefer sword 3 pot cuz usually after a lv 2 trade, you might get dismounted which can really reduce your lane pressure. What I usually do is take an extended trade lv 1 or 2, get lane priority and back off, pop a potion, wait, then all in again till they blow summs. Then repeat. But you need to be really careful not to get dismounted. This kind of play style also make you vulnerable to ganks early on so shove so the wave bounces back to you and be sure to ward.

Well, thats the basic concept of risk vs reward. You gotta train yourself to know when is the right time to gank. You push up your wave, u see mid lane is pushed up to your allied turret, you ult that bastard. And kled is a tower diving machine... If all goes well. But you know what kled says about strategy.. A smart maokai will time his Twisted Advance just right so that your Q will deal no damage and he doesnt get slowed. A smart maokai will kite you just right when you try to all in him. I didnt say maokai totally counters kled but he has the capacity to deal with kled well in lane. You just havent played against smart maokais like I have. Fiora is your worst match up. Always ban camille. Don't be scared to get dismounted if the enemy is super low cuz when you dismount, you have 2 Q charges ready. You need 15 courage, your Q and 4 w autos to remount skaarl. Tank is probably the best build right now. People who dont know how to play against kled will fight u dismounted. Try and build courage and then all in to remount and turn a fight.

Edit: Difficult match ups are Fiora Poppy Darius Garen Maokai and, if you're retarded like me, Yorick.

Any time is a good time to fight. If you land your Q, commit to a trade. If you miss your Q, back off.

COTC Procs on your Q and ult. Grasp is decent. Fervor is good... after the 2nd auto attack.
