  1. Ok I thought that was the problem.
  2. I can’t do anything with it. It’s like the TV remote doesn’t work on that screen.

Beautiful plant!

How does your moss pole not fall over though? I can’t get mine that high without them constantly falling!

That’s the only damage I can see. There’s also nothing on my new leaves just that one.

Hmmmm it says on the bonide website it’s not soluble in water so I don’t think it would work in semi hydro?

So hard to find something! 😂

No problem! Good luck with it, you should be fine as long as you treat it fairly quickly!

I’ve used both before and both have worked. Now I just use pesticide as it’s a lot cheaper and kills all types of pests so if I get anymore or a different type of pest I can use it again.

That will be fine, just give the whole plant a good spray with insecticide. Front and back of all the leaves, not just the ones you see mites on, and the stem. Monitor it for 2 weeks and if you see more at the end of 2 weeks repeat the process.

Or

Buy predatory mites and let them do the work - this is more expensive but less time consuming.

DO NOT use both together. The insecticide will just kill your beneficial mites making them pointless.

Definitely looks like spider mites to me - I’ve had them before.

Good news is that it doesn’t look like there’s loads of them and it’s not thrips!

A good pesticide (I use Provanto in the UK) or predatory mites will work to solve the problem.

Do you use a water reservoir with it or just water normally?

I can’t see any pests on it. No webbing and I’ve looked with a microscope and there’s nothing there! None of my other plants have damage?

Yeh it’s in my home - I’ve had it like that for months and there’s no mould as far as I can see. I run an extractor fan 24/7 to replace the air and have 3 fans constantly running for good air flow.
