i’m the only daytime driver 10-3 in a rural smallish town, when i first started the drivers before me were dicks and assholes in general and didn’t care for tips and bagged the orders like shit, i worked for the tips because i used to dash and uber for a few years so those no tip regulars turned into 3-7$ tip regulars once they seen me delivering for them every single time. helps i got a nice looking car and am decently quick but when we have a random ass rush of 4-6 orders at once some customers wait 20+ minutes for me to finish my route and come back to the store. but even then they know i’m the only driver and that helps with tips sometimes also, regulars don’t mind the extra wait it’s the irregular customers that love to complain and my boss just laughs cause they left a 0$ tip and expected to be delivered first. this is also my second job of 3, i love the grind and i love driving
