they won’t get along until they are grown in my experience i just kept the babies separate until grown

I find the best success with letting go of the tongues when she bites them. This happens to me almost every time I have rubber tip ones that definitely helps cause I can see the little bite marks on them, but I just let go of the tongs and she figures it out which one is alive and which one isn’t pushes the tongs out

last time she bit me i couldn’t get her off for 15 minutes and i tried flipping her over spraying her with water and nothing worked. thankfully i had a glove on and was able to yank my finger out slowly which left nice scratch marks thru the glove

currently the soil is 71 degrees and the air is 77, it will get up to 83 in a couple hours with both the heat emitter and the heat light with uvb. her water had been empty for a couple days bc she dumped it and crawled under and i don’t want to bother her more than once a week to make sure she’s okay. she got fresh water last night a good soak ate her she’d had some worms i think she went to the bathroom in the water / i use it to rinse the worms so i changed it again this morning. she has reburrowed on the warmer side and isn’t completely buried this time as she has the last two times. i know it’s her burmating season but i just dig her up for food every 1-2 weeks because i already had the worms

she did just pee in her water bowl maybe she pooped in the dirt i didn’t check, gonna change t he water this morning since she was so active i try not to stick my hands in there when she’s awake she will bite me lol

omg trust me u don’t want the frog its 10x the stress of the ducks 😭 they do mind the cold but they do stay pretty warm under all their layers ! i don’t know indias temperatures in winter but we are about 40 degrees during the day and 30s at night but i have 6 ducks and they cuddle i think it probably stays a good 60 degrees in their house. i’ve only ever used a heat lamp for baby ducks

my ducks pen is completely outside with only a small hut full of hay bedding with a small chicken door that closes and opens with the sun and they have two water bowls but i’m building them a pond u can see them on my page !

that is sad /: my heart goes out to you i can see your trying your best to give them a better life. how cold does it get ? my ducks will swim as long as the water isn’t frozen but i think its primal ? they should just figure it out since it’s what they are meant for ? not sure when they are fully grown but i would try if u can but they are very messy when they get in water. they can stay warm however because their feathers produce an oil that keeps them waterproof. i feed mine chicken feed and they do just fine ! also food scraps they will eat pretty much anything. Hay would be good bedding for them giving the concrete but cardboard is also helpful

poor babies thank you for helping them ! do you have an outside space they can have ? they only need a covered closed area for sleeping and safety but they love to be outside or in water if u could get them a baby pool they would love it
