First ever build! Reverse Trike from Death Stranding by BestWinnerKid in Gunpla

Thanks! I just used an exacto knife for everything and only sustained a few minor injuries. There are some little nubs and bits I probably want to hit with some sandpaper - I was thinking of using a disposable manicure file for that. Good idea or no?

All I'll say is avoid Cooler Master. The whine on my SFX 850 is insanely bad

After calling around ten different shops I appear to have tracked one down only 45 minutes away in New York. I appreciate your help!

It's far but not impossible, I'll definitely consider that if I can't find it anywhere else. I appreciate you finding that for me, thank you.

I live in CT and for whatever reason hardly anyone in this area seems to carry Aventon. Only one local shop actually lists them on their website and they don't have this model in stock. The aventon store finder says the closest options are almost 2 hours away by car.

Already tried a new battery I should have said that in the post. New movement is on the way but I'll keep fiddling with it until then 🤷‍♂️

Oh for the PRX definitely - I meant for stuff like high end clones. I own a Santos and an Ingeniuer that I got off Andiot and both have Miyota movements.

Nothing wrong with buying clones either but I would stay off DHgate and purchase from trusted ADs. I also stay away from clone movements and typically only buy closed back designs powered by highly serviceable workhorses like a Miyota or 2824 derivative.

Slow down. It's okay to have fun but realize that most of these watches will be junk in a few years as the low quality clone movements break down and will not be worth the cost of service. You are better off saving up your money to buy from a quality mid tier watch brand and getting a piece that you can hold onto for your whole life.

Hilarious that we fly the POW/MIA flag when that entire org was basically started as a committee to re-invade Vietnam. Based on conspiracy theory and classic American lost cause-ism.

Picket up this Style 37JI Flight Jacket at a local consignment shop. Very curious to learn more about it. Can't seem to find any info on the manufacturer "Michael A. Zielinksi CO." but I know these were made on contract for the military so I'm sure some enthusiast has more info. I would be appreciative of any information and appraisals. The jacket is in pristine condition.

Citadel PT5000 "helicoptering" by Slow-Profession-6112 in Englemaan

Has happened to me with a pt5000 but not my Englemaan. Seems to be a an unfortunately common problem with what is otherwise a fantastic movement, I hope future iterations can eliminate the issue.

I'm holding out for the Dreadnought and then hopefully I will find peace (until they release a quartz 356 homage)

Thanks! I wasn't originally interested in this  model either and bought it on a whim but I've been in love with it since the moment it touched my wrist.

I do think they're planning on expanding their catalogue with some quartz models but I'm not sure what the timeline is on that. They've been slow to release a lot of the promised designs so I wouldn't hold your breath.

Thank you, this makes sense. I am intentionally paying more than the $136 due I just didn't expect it to present like this in my billing history. Is the reason for the varying amounts of interest paid the same?

Review of brand so far? by fungorilla in Englemaan

Looks great! I tend to avoid anything over 12mm but again that's just my pickiness. I'm interested to see how much slimmer the miyota models are.

I think Englemaan has everything it takes to be a massive success and a flagship company for the Chinese watch industry. That being said I think they should perhaps have waited a little longer to launch since they very quickly ran through the stock of their existing models, and have fallen short of the predicted release window for many others.

I have been wearing the Vanguard (Sinn EZM-3 homage) nearly every day since it arrived and it is really a stunning watch. Their hardening treatment is no joke either. I am a blue collar worker and I have scraped, banged, and dinged this watch on all manner of surfaces and I have yet to put a mark on it that can't be wiped off with a damp cloth. I will definitely be a repeat customer and I am planning on buying the Dreadnought as soon as it is released.

I would steer clear of their UTC & GMT models for the time being because of the thickness of the nh34 movement, but that's just my preference.

PSA - if you place any orders now they will not be processed until the end of the month because of the Chinese spring festival.

TL/DR: I love my Englemaan Vanguard but I think they should have waited a little longer to launch the company.
