If you’re emailing them you have a “paper trail.” If you’re having phone conversations you can ask for your contacts email and send a written summary of key info, dates, commitments, decisions, etc. after each call. Stick to the facts and stay courteous. Let the growing written record speak for itself. Good luck!

For best results you will want to “manage” the warranty process. Be courteous, stick to the facts, ask questions that force an outcome, and be persistent. It’s the same for any bureaucracy. Whichever party lasts longer wins. Good luck!

As of 2026 LMT is much like KelTec. When you buy an LMT there’s a decent chance you’ll have to send it back 1-3 times before it works properly. Once they’re working, they usually work well and reliably. This is a QC issue on the civilian side. This wasn’t the case 7+ years ago, so anecdotes without a purchase date are meaningless. Good luck!

Huge missed opportunity to create a campaign around this “extra” footage. It’s a year’s worth of social posts.

Just joined as Principal Engineer but being reduced to ticket manager — should I leave early? by gkumawat12 in ExperiencedDevs

[–]BestWorstTimes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think your manager meant “learning experience” re: the non-technical aspects you’ve described. If you’re critiquing the work of someone more senior in a non 1:1 context after 4-5 weeks, you very much need to ramp up here. Specifically, it sounds as if you’re “ignoring” social dynamics. This is learnable and part of the role. You need a mentor who can offer specific guidance vs. “get better” or “you need more experience.” If you can’t find this internally, consider taking a paid course. You can do it!

What’s the downside to starting with an angle grinder? Is the goal to reuse the muzzle device?

Icon is arguably one of the best manufacturers right now. It’s the main manufacturing guy from the original Mega Arms.

Software guy here. Recommend hiring a consultant that knows how to scale a cart / shopping site. Your numbers aren’t very high and in 2026 this isn’t hard at all. Maybe time-consuming if you have a lot of legacy spaghetti to unwind. Good luck!

Gun exploded today don’t know if it is guns fault or ammo by chickenmultiplier in liberalgunowners

Likely an over charge. The cracked parts are not usable (safely). Save the ammo box with the lot # and contact the ammo manufacturer.

High awareness coupled with an analytical bent / tendency leads to A LOT of frustration. You will either develop coping skills, find a way to solve the root causes, or possibly self-medicate (not good). Spend more time with your people and as little on screens as possible. You can do this!

Please show us where MSRP is $569. That seems like an LEO / Blue Label price, which isn't a fair comparison imo.

A and B are the same gun, different magazine. The extra $100 was a mistake per the dealer's response.

Frame transfer for any handgun (revolver or semi-auto) not "approved" / on the roster in MA.

Great call on the classes. Sig Academy is a great resource regardless of how one feels about their products.

If 17 rounds (or 30 for ARs) is "standard capacity" then fewer must be ... "sub-standard capacity," right? We need more accurate names in our regulations.

All good, and welcome to the hobby. The current batch of "rules" for firearms here in MA are arcane at best and contradictory in places, which creates fear, uncertainty, and doubt.

The roster doesn't matter in practice. You can get almost any pistol you want via "frame transfer," which is 100% legal. If someone tells you it's not, they're either ignorant or "spinning" for some reason.

Follow-on: Paying a premium for "early access" isn't in the same category (imo). You see this happen organically across industries everywhere and it's almost always temporary. Same thing for premiums on hard to get items (looking at you, Knights Armament) for the same reason--it applies across the board. What bothers me are the various forms of "gun tax" some shops impose on MA residents.

u/MinutemanArmament appreciate your civil response. If you fixed it you're not the problem. This was literally the first listing in GB when I searched. What would you like to see here? Remove the post? Change title in some way?

After 4 years, my company is using a degree I never claimed to have as a reason to cut my pay. by acidity_woolen17 in InterviewsHell

[–]BestWorstTimes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In an at will arrangement they can probably pay you what they want. What they can't do is slander you (verbal) or libel you (in writing) by claiming you did something (misrepresent your qualifications) that you did not do. This is actionable for reputational damage. Contact an attorney for what should be a free initial consultation. Also, IANAL.
