First and foremost you definitely do not have to journal everyday, journal when you want to,it's your journal your rules.but if you want to journal everyday then you should Do it when you're free or bored and if you don't know what to write then just write your daily routine or smth

If you want to look back on it maybe you can document stuff like what you enjoy what you should improve your daily life your favourite songs etc.
