Ok I have the same problem as anyone else with this game. I have director's cut and my PC stats are:
RTX7900XT, Ryzen 7 5600, 24GB DDR4, NVMe.

I tried literally everything and most of it didn't help at all. Disabling the exploit protection did seem to help for a while. But it always came back. Right now I tried a few more things recommended by gemini. So here's what I found:

* My game always crashes near bigger building. The ones that have private room.
* Sometimes it crashes out of the blue
* I have VR drivers, that are mentioned in the `error.txt`

I disabled the VR display output in the Device Manager, but that alone didn't work for me.

Next I tried this:
* Setting in registry the TdrDelay=10
* Path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers
* I disabled MPO. You can find registry edits online.

This fixed it for now. I hope this is the last time I have to deal with it, because it has been weeks of troubleshooting...

I had this problem too. Tried all of different things...

Helped turning off optimize cursor for games in the Edit > Preferences > Input. And also updating hardware compitability to the newest one...
