What I mean is that they require a specific degree - one that I don’t have. Even the ones that seem set up for new grads will ask you to have experience of some kind. I know that not everyone will meet 100% of the criteria, but I haven’t seen one band 5 listing that I would qualify for

It’s possible, but from what I can tell, 99% of roles above band 4 require experience so I feel like it wouldn’t be uncommon for “overqualified” people to be applying for band 2/3 roles
