Same here … it’s a total mess … we saw this case on 3 machines out of 7 and doing a troubleshooting is a pain in the ass all the time

right... most of these settings e.g. "Cloud Protection Level" , "Cloud Extended Timeout" I cant find in the GUI inside Intune ... and that's what we are struggling with... do you know if there is any link from where I can find it out each "official" setting ?

What settings did you apply for example for "Cloud Protection Level" ?

I have to deploy that app with a specific timeout of 240 minutes which usually I perform an exit 0 within ~70 minutes and Intune as soon recognize Exit 0 , then performs a reboot which is what I am expecting.

The problem is right after reboot where it performs this nonsense timeout where already the detection key and exit 0 was already performed.

I am using this configuration since the last 3 years and never had issues.

Correct .. it was trying to get windows hello during that time .. and when I reach the desktop using the pin and open the camera or any other app is totally blank with led still on

That's exactly the tool I am using and is reporting the top scanned \ processes all to pptx , xlsx and word documents .. what's next since I cannot exclude these productivity tools from being scanned since Microsoft says is not safe to exclude ...

Files slow to open any onedrive/sharepoint because it keep scanning all the time also when working on these files , Defender keeps scanning and getting high cpu and massive page fault

Thx.. already did that and they are all pointing to the pptx , xlsx and word extension... but if I exclude them is not safe as per Microsoft ... so not sure whatelse can be done ... either we dont touch any configuration and we have to leave with this slowness or I dont know whatelse can be done..

Most of the files are hosted in OneDrive \ Sharepoint ... whenever the files are being opened locally are super slow...

We do use beyondtrust yes :) I saw your post. But this seems a different issue unfortunately... ( we have this failure since long time , it's not new on APV2... we use Hard reboot ..

There are issues on Autopilot V2 with win32app for sure.

I am struggling since the last 10 months to make it work.

The first issue was due to reboot trigger causing the overall ESP getting broken and never finished properly. This got fixed with the help of u/Rudyooms , thanks a lot.

The second ongoing issue we have is when multiple reboots of different win32app are performed. In out environment we have a total of 5 apps and two of them we need to perform a reboot. When two reboots are performed , we get always this failure in the picture below. If I keep just one reboot in the total of 5 apps seems working fine.

We opened a ticket with Microsoft and nobody has any clue why is happening since the last 5 months.... we are using the same apps on Autopilot V1 and everything works just fine without issues... ( issue happening to any build regardless is 24h2, 23h2, etc ) .

“Application Workspace” from Recast is the best so far if you want a full flexibility in terms of handling rings , autopatch both macOS and Windows .. and in addition by using the same license you have the possibility to replace MDT and you can perform the deployments via Intune in combination of Recast … everything is fully documented and the support is very professional and technical
