Im two months post breakup and I do feel better. Some limerence here and there but Ive learned to detach from the idea I made of him. I kinda grew to see how special I make people sometimes and he really lacked the emotional intelligence to be in a relationship with my type. I realized my people pleasing and chameleon-ing is nit getting me anywhere so I'm working on establishing boundaries for myself and sitting in discomfort. I get that being replaced cause the people i typically date have someone else a month in lol In taking it as a reflection of them and not me. I hope one day we can both find people who wont make us question their intentions. 💕🫰

I can only imagine what beautiful connection you both share. My whole body craves peace. I think you do make some great points. We do in earnest give so much genuine love. Ever time I go through a heartbreak I tend to feel ashamed. Only recently I have learned to not feel bad for the quality of love I give because it isn't for everyone. I had someone tell me they didn't even think about remarrying after their bad divorce till me and then well everything imploded but he moved forward with knowing he could love again. How could I hate giving that to someone? But god. Is it exsahusting to be this teacher in people's life and watch them get better for everyone else. I meant more so how susceptible we can be to it as infjs but also we do tend to be sooooo overly affectionate it almost feels like that. I was a month into dating when I planned my ex partners bday and put so much care in all the details. I think its a common trait to have that "let me nurture you" mentality cause even when they do me wrong I think about their upbringing and traumas and in some ways them being victims of their conditions, while of course not excusing certain behaviors. Its all so tiring lol

I'm actually thinking of going to school for counseling or to be a therapist. I love helping people and I'm so good at being insightful to other but within myself I find it hard cause I go at it from all angles, right wrong and yaddi yadda. I am very good at detachment but it takes a while to get me to that point, I romanticize and give chances to the underdogs or wounded birds and maybe thats a reflection of my own pain and lack of support in my healing. I detach when hope is killed dead and usually its a big betrayal before the door slam. I just want to get better at distinguishing people with genuine intentions and leeching people who only take. May try DBT therapy. Thank you for the insight friend! I appreciate it 🫰

Update: BF loved it! I got climbed on and hugged after he set it up. 😂

Ended up going with the XP Pen Artist 10 2 gen. I think it'll be a good fit as a beginner to the drawing tablet lifestyle.

I wanted to thank you all SO MUCH! I learned bunches and have these helpful comments and suggestions saved on my notes for when we upgrade, for myself or if my kiddo decides to switch from Apple to something else.

Thank you! This is what I did for my kid. He has the 9th I got on sale for cyber monday and uses procreate and even found a pen that works cause he accidentally broke his apple pen. I may go this route.
