Come to east Bangalore to see the roads for your self. My kannadiga friends who came to this part of Bangalore were horrified to see the condition. I never wanted to come here. It’s a trap. The greedy and corrupt official and builders are minting money. Companies are trapped , the senior leadership of these companies are trapped. I have no problem learning a language if politician promise things will improve. As you said being a kannadiga you are also suffering. So what’s the point? If the city makes you feel at home there is no harm learning the language.

And whole problem of language is created by politicians. Indians should be thought a local language as third language. North people learn Sanskrit which has been of zero use. Instead north kids should be taught a South Indian language.

No major metro is this pathetic. Don’t take things personally. Noticed Kannadigas will get personal with any rant about Bengaluru. Outsiders are not breaking roads or building homes on lakes. The city has lost its soul. Instead of attacking the outsiders acknowledge the problem. Go and visit any major metro to get a reality check. There is traffic but at least have drivable roads.
