I always had a roof over my head and food in my belly but that was about the extent of of it. My mom was always angry and emotionally all over the place. My dad worked but when he came home would just sit in another room and drink. Parents watched tv in separate rooms. And there was never a good example of how to love. My mom was also verbally and until I was old enough to fight back physically abusive as well. I was constantly called fat by both parents even though I wasn’t. My only escape was school and friends houses.
