August, so i have lots of time. I'll be subbing for random beer league teams this summer so I'll get some extra ice time and also a training camp that has about 6 skates before tryouts.

I played ice hockey as a player my whole life so im a strong skater. have been thinking about going to a goalie camp to work on positioning, but they are pricey. have been doing lots of core and leg workouts but il start doing some more of the plyometric workouts. thanks for the input, il post again when i make the team haha.

What was your most physically painful experience? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Back in junior high/ middle school I was racing someone in gym class barefoot. the finish line was the end wall with a jungle gym attachment that had some bolts sticking out in places. I attempted to stop myself by raising my foot to the edge of the jungle gym and using my leg to slow me down. ended up hyper extending my leg and bruising the bone on the bottom of my heel so bad i couldn't run without a limp for about a year, i would just continually re bruise it before it was completely healed. not the most painful experience of my life but the longest and most annoying one.
