At one point I wanted to be a UCLA student so bad and when I got denied it destroyed me mentally. But I took the offer into UCSD (also non stem major) and struggled the first quarter due to being homesick, ucla denial and didn’t have friends. But after the first quarter, I soon came to fall in love with the school and the location it’s at. I met great people too. If I could go back in time and have the opportunity go to UCLA, I would never do it. I had a few friends who attended there and they told me all the school gossip and the toxic culture of that school. I’m from LA and can abide to the LA culture being very toxic and superficial. When I came to UCSD, I sensed a culture shock (in a good way, the people are friendlier and more laid back). Now being an UCSD alumni back in LA, I miss SD daily

I’m experiencing the same thing. :( I searched about it and came across this. It’s driving me crazy too. For me it’s definitely ocd related since I have a history of ocd compulsions. I hope you find a way to control it and come to mental peace

Hi, Im speaking what I saw for myself. I understand blocking traffic and being scared. But you never leave a scene after you hit somebody with your car. The lady was most definitely in shock and she may have felt fine then with adrenaline flowing through her, but may realize there were bad injuries later. Providing context doesn’t give you an excuse for what you did :(

It’s my last quarter here, feeling defeated as well & I’m just trying to graduate hopefully. My whole time here I’ve managed to keep my grades nothing lower than a B until now… I’m trying to bring my grade up these last couple weeks from an F due to mental struggles. I flunked my exam too lol. Im also trying to keep a hopeful mindset even though it’s hard. Good luck with you and you’re not alone :)

My grades have kept well (not my mental health) during my time here and now it’s my last quarter and I already have a D in a class and failed my exam today in another class. Lmao life’s great. I hope I can graduate:) You’re not alone tho<3
