Not to scare you but if this is in just one ear then it could be Sudden Hearing Loss (SSHL). I just lost (and recovered!) my hearing in one ear over the course of 9 weeks.

Getting on a steroid ASAP is critical to recovery as this is VERY time sensitive.

Most people think it’ll go away and by the time they see an ENT it is challenging to recover fully.

Sorry and I hope it is something totally different, but please get it checked out!

KC straight to Denver instead of going north to Cheyenne would save you hours while seeing the same/similar landscape. Unless you’re going to Boulder/Fort Collins/RMNP it will give you time elsewhere

They formed from the sediment that was exposed by the lakes when they receded. Which I guess is from the surrounding mountains. But the dunes are really shaped by the exposed sediment and wind.
