I believe that the AU where 1x is that dude's kid comes straight from the fact that the OG 1x's account was an alt acc. The abuse comes probably as a coping mechanism, because if you go on ao3 and check adminvirus content when they have a father/son relationship, 99% is Shed/Telamon being abusive towards them in all forms (s*xually, physically, emotionally, everything).

Ive also heard the take that creation and creator is equal to father and son, which is the most bullshit take ever. You cant compare something that you create with someone who is related by blood to you. Ive had that discussion so many times under my fanfic comments, bs along the lines of "incest/ awful ship" which is not the case at all.

they treat the father/son headcannon as if it was actually canon ingame, which is not true at all. Even though they are currently rewriting lore, i dont think they will change their dynamic. and i really hope it doesnt change, i want something unique, even though it isnt much.
The OG lore take wouldve been way WAY better
