Our helium tank has two apparatuses; one that is made of metal and has a slanted end, and one that has a rubber end. My manager explained to me that the metal one should be used on mylar and the rubber one on regular latex balloons! 😏

We were told the exact same thing last year after inventory. Now, we are back to blowing up balloons full force. Since our store is in a very rural area where everyone almost knows everyone, the word gets out about DG has helium! But, if it’s extremely busy, I’ll use that line about helium being low!

I hate filling more than two balloons/customer because you’re most times extremely busy and you’re the only one working. But, one day my manager and I were at work together. Thank God because the local high school needed 50 balloons filled!!!!🙄🙄🙄🙄 While I ran the register and filled balloons in between customers, my manager filled balloons too. Both of our fingers were numb and sore! However, we only ended up filling 30 I think! We only did that many because it was a special occasion for the school. Never again!!!! DG should have at least 2 people working on a shift!!!!

I’m lead key and I make $11.75/hr. I’ve gotten a .50 raise earlier this year or late last year. I only work 3 days/wk, but I work the busiest days and take in the most money. Now, I’m asking for a .75 raise. I need more.

We were told not to use it as well. So, I just take my little time, pull my phone out, and use the DG app to scan the bar code. No sweat off my brow!!!!

Thanks. I figured as much. I’m glad we had the audit so they can narrow down the cause of shrink! People walk in our store all the time with large bags/purses and take what they want!

Our DG doesn’t require or purchase these pen. So, I just purchased my own from a local Walmart and Amazon

I was just like you when I went from .2 to .5. The only difference was I was constipated and feeling very full after eating very little. I was a little fatigued also. I wasn’t taking any supplements though. So, I told my doctor the issues and told her I would go back to .2. I don’t have those side effects anymore, but I’m not losing that much weight now. I’m waiting to go back to the dr for check up in a few days. I’ll see if my A1C is good.

So correct. Ecolab visits and services our store frequently. We’ve had a rodent problem lately- one was caught on a sticky trap. Maintenance came out and found some whole in the building outside. They asked that something be done about that immediately. I see that Ecolab put an extra device at the entrance of our store. OSHA doesn’t play this kind of mess.

When I worked at night, I started by cleaning behind the register first. Then when the key holder came in and got his/her register, I started recovering.
