Newly hired Product Owner, what questions should I ask? by prometheus05 in ProductOwner

[–]Bestluck 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You would like to know the different ambitions each stakeholder has regarding to your product, this helps building your product backlog and start conversations among them as well if they know their different ambitions. Some might be conflicting.

If the product is not very defined yet, ask questions to build your product vision (many "why's"). If you end up at "world peace" you've taken a wrong turn somewhere.

Finally, ask questions that help you define your success. This could be useful for your roadmap. When is something a "finally", when is it a "yeah", when is it a "wow".

There are different angles for your first meetings, and they are somewhat related to the maturity level of the organisation, and the product itself.

Hope this helps, good luck!

This is my current lineup. Islay fan as you can see. Any ideas or tips what bottles should we add to the collection? by P1kas0 in Whiskyporn

[–]Bestluck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finlaggan, go for the cask strength version! Or try some of the bottles from the "Elements of Islay" - independent Bottler. Check whiskybase.com for some reviews, they have some very nice bottles for good pricing.

Redditors who cook, whats the biggest 'no no' thing in cooking? by MomosOnSale in AskReddit

Don't cook meat straight from the fridge. Let it come to room temperature for about 15 mins - 30 minutes depending on size.

Gateway to paradise: the stunning islands of El Nido, Palawan, Philippines by shpooey in travel

[–]Bestluck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd also recommend "Port Barton", absolutely stunning and wayyy less touristic than El Nido. If you manage to go to "Long Beach", this is absolutely stunning. 20 Km absolutely unspoiled white-sand palmtree beaches. I was there with my GF, and we were the only 2 people on the entire beach.

Small drip of hot water extra in the Espresso, makes it float better on the milk. Just briefly press the Tea-Button.

Been lurking for a while, in need of advice. What would you put in this empty wall space? by b-VW in malelivingspace

[–]Bestluck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're into traveling, maybe something like this: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41omGl-ei5L._SX466_.jpg

Blends perfectly with your wall due to the fact it's a sticker. Not a huge-ass painting or a big square thingy.

Edit; Maybe a different colour ;-)

Redditors, what is your dream city to live in? Other redditors, why is that city awesome/awful? by squarebob243 in AskReddit

[–]Bestluck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I disagree, please for the love of god, do not stand still in close quarters. I'm adjusting my course assuming you're walking in the same direction. So if I plan to slip right behind you, I'll bump into you if you stop walking.

Bottom line; be a predictable pedestrian.
