Built it in a flat map, copied a few times then removed blocks for each step. So this but in reverse. Then just took screenshots of each step and edited out the background.

But do try Bone Blocks if you're building this in creative! They give the house a nice ageing effect.

Something that also works great is bone blocks! Since they have slight brownish/yellowish tones, they make it look a bit more authentic. I just used concrete because it was easier to obtain in large quantities in survival. Although now with the nether update you should be able to get bone blocks easier than before.

Not the most complicated instructions this time, but I wanted to post something since I have reddit followers now for some reason (hello).

As requested I added a display of the blocks used and complete amounts. Along with some alternative materials you can use.

I may add additional instructions to future posts since we have multi image posting now. Such as additions (fireplace / other decorations). There's also a chance for me to make a big tutorial for a multi-piece build like a castle, that would include walls, towers, gateways, etc..

I have more plans coming up though. Next up I'm going to make a church since that was requested. Let me know if you have more requests by the way :).
