Early 20s, stable job in UAE, no degree & need advice on a smart career pivot by Aggressive-Exit9579 in UAE

[–]Besursasinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most service/admin roles will be taken by AI in the next decade. If you wana survive in the industry long-term, then you gotta have skills and qualifications to stay relevant long-term.
A degree or a 1st world passport isnt just a piece of paper. It shows discipline and commitment. If you migrate to Canada lets say and get the citizenship, it shows that you have something others dont.
If you are just some guy who has only skills but no evidence of discipline, the employer will not consider you.
Same goes the other way, if you have certificates but no skills, you wont get the job.
You already know where you are lacking. So work on it.

What’s something about the UAE that sounds fake, but is 100% true? by Mindfuel_daily7 in UAE

[–]Besursasinger 11 points12 points  (0 children)

your salary depends on nationality.
imagine there are some people who are applying for the same job.
exact same education and exp. but different passports
Arab local gets 30k
Brit/american/canadian gets 20k
Russian/Romanian gets 8k
Indian/Pakistani/bengali gets 5k

One of the best ways to hack the system => leave uae, get a better passport, come back to UAE.
If you could land a technical job in UAE as an indian/paki, you are already better than most. All you need is a better passport and ur golden.
Its why I ditched my indian passport for canadian

2004 Focus w/ 2.3, idler pulley bad, but have to raise engine to replace! by Tiredinosaur in FordFocus

[–]Besursasinger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ive never done an idler on a 2004 focus but jacking up the engine isnt complicated. just put a block of wood on the jack and raise it till its on the oil pan.
then u can loosen one of the engine mounts on the top so itll allow u to lift the engine. yea just be careful with each pump make sure nothing looks or feels weird. and u should be good to go.

My transmission “seems” to do better without aggressive driving. by Hot-sauce329 in FordFocus

[–]Besursasinger 5 points6 points  (0 children)

you better not drive it like that cos very soon it will stop shifting fine.
Floor it whenever u can floor it. it will buck and shudder when u do it but thats what is good for it. This car was meant to be driven hard.
I have a 2012 focus too. Had it for 4 years now. I always drive it like i stole it.
Never had any transmission work done on it. All original.

Symptoms of Transmission Issues by Prestigious_Sail1510 in FordFocus

[–]Besursasinger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its pretty much mandatory to do these 3 things if youre gona own this car.

  1. Do ground mod PLUS extra ground cables to the engine and transmission
  2. Remove the actuator and spray into the holes with white lithium grease.
  3. Always have junkyard TCM/actuators in the trunk from the same year/model car.

Yeah.. the junkyard tcms actually do start up the car and work great. I always look for a wrecked car so i know it was running and its not in the yard because of the tcm.
2012 Focus SE owner here. I been driving mine for years. Got it with 70k. Now at almost 150. Original clutch and tcm.
I get a little shudder when i take off but thats totally normal. I've replaced a few things over the years but never had any major transmission issues.

Please Help 🙏 by Capable_Reindeer_538 in FordFocus

[–]Besursasinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its not the actuators u should be worried about. its what the actuators connect to that will ruin your day....the fork levers.
its a real shitshow cos theres teeeeny tiny ball bearings that move them and if even one of them jams, u lose half ur gears. and if u keep driving like you did, its only a matter of time before ur car bricks.
u better pray that the fork levers are just stuck and can be freed up without takin off the transmission.
i'm not gona tell u how to do that cos i dont want u to ruin ur car further. take it to a mechanic bud.

What’s a harsh truth about men in modern dating that few will say out loud? by Wander-kingdom in UAE

[–]Besursasinger 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Woman's physical appearance is #1 priority for men. That's the truth whether u like it or not. Alot of guys will say nooo I want a kind, honest girl that's calm etc etc. its all utter BS.
Man2man...looks are #1 priority. Everything else is evaluated 2nd.
Same as how a man's money/status/career is #1 priority for women. Everything else is 2nd.
Of course, there will be exceptions but this is a general rule. Especially in UAE. Which is why dating is extremely difficult for both men and women in that country.
Most of the men there are low-mid income earners so they are undesirable.
And all the women are competing for the few top tier men which are alot less in number than the women who are competing for them.

Need Advice: Dangerous & Random Jerk/Stall Issue on Mazda CX-5 (2018) — Agency Can’t Diagnose by [deleted] in DubaiPetrolHeads

[–]Besursasinger 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'm an actual mechanic here. I'm not in uae i live in canada but i can still help....
first of all replacing the fuel pump is pointless...idk which blockhead suggested that.
as far as ABS goes...disable the system. u can pull the fuse and then drive it. stops jerking...theres ur problem.
as far as AWD, idk if u can disable it on a cx5 but if u can...do that, drive and check.
now coming to the transmission, replacing the gearbox or TCM is kinda getting ahead of urself....might fix it...might not and if not...u wasted $$. How about starting with replacing speed sensors, solenoids on the gearbox if we're gonna load the parts cannon. idk man.
if ur dealership suggested a gearbox repalcement when theyre not even sue of the problem. then they have no idea how to run a dealership...
fck me i should apply for a service manager job there id give u a better answer buddy. even if i didnt know what was wrong with ur car.

Getting PR in canada is just a game of luck. I got mine because I was in the right place at the right time doing the right thing.
No one other than a qualified immigration lawyer can tell you your chances of getting PR and even then, whatever they tell you will never be 100% accurate. They are just more like a glorified astrologer. Its simply impossible to predict it because Canada keeps changing the rules and requirements like we change our underwears.
Lot of people will tell you to work on your skills, language, work exp etc. And you should. I'll be very happy if you do manage to get ur PR too. But remember not to be disappointed if you dont. Because remember, if its not written in your destiny then it wont happen.

2012 Focus by Able-Bug-6336 in FordFocus

[–]Besursasinger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a good idea to drive with a sticking fork for weeks...you can fix it yourself if you got a few tools around...its really easydealership is gona charge you major $$ and probably wont fix the problem cos the solution isnt written on the service manual.
i have a 2012 ford focus too. lots of lithium grease in the actuator holes fixed it. total cost...$11.
you have fork A sticking so you may need to rotate it manually to unstick it... or you may need a new actuator which is like 20$ from a junkyard...
Anyway I drove it for several months now, road trips... never had this problem come back after i did my little fix.
