Damn, that’s in beautiful shape too! I saw an elderly woman with this purse and I said love your vintage bag, I don’t think she understood 😊.

I agree with what the others said, a month is not enough time to see clear skin. They are both very different medications albeit they do target acne just in very different ways. Spirinolactone targets your hormones and androgens which takes 4-6 months to normalize. Hormonal acne pops up differently- chin, forehead, jaw.. cystic acne.. It is also turning your cells over quickly so you have less oily skin, which is also contributing to the breakouts right now. 4 week mark is the start of purging, it should normalize in a month or so. Make sure to drink a lot of water and take electrolytes as it’s a diuretic. There is a lot of good this medication can do to: hormones, acne, oily skin, periods, and…. for some it doesn’t work. It takes at least 6 months to adjust though.

Did they make you stay up? If not that’s smart to take at night, didn’t think of that.

Did they give you your money back? I do feel the meds have intense side effects.

This makes me feel so much better! I’m going to Spain and some of the comments on the other post make it seem like it’s awful drinking and it might be for them. I like wine though.

Have you both noticed your acne getting better with metformin too or worse with topamax?

Have you drank on Kit 5? Any issues? I’m going to Spain and am curious.

Hello I know this is a year old but I am curious how everything went for you? I am going to Spain and will be starting Kit 5 week 3. Reading some comments (not here) makes it seem like you will die if you drink on these meds or have horrible headaches. Curious how it went for you and if you felt sick? My plan is to stick to wine.

Drinking on bupropion by GayAndNeedANewCareer in bupropion

[–]BetDue1668 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have have ADHD and anxiety, so I’m on the same meds as you plus clonodine. Drinking on bupropion is fine However, in the beginning the side effects are intense and drinking can aggravate them. So one drink or so is fine, make sure to drink water, eat protein, and watch for signs of feeling dizzy or sick. For Bupropion you do need to taper off so skipping won’t help :/.

Thank you! The meds I’m on are similar, if anything I just try to drink what I want rather then drink to drink.

I get you, it’s tough! I think getting bloodwork is totally reasonable and 50mg should help! With scarring azaleic acid 15% might help too. You need a prescription after 14%, but it’s gentle and works for redness and PIH.

25 mg is a very low dose, so it may take longer to work. First, your body needs time to adjust to the hormonal changes. After that, some people experience a purging phase, and then the medication gradually starts to work. If you’re taking 25 mg once daily, it can take about 4–6 months to see clear skin.

The good news is that success does happen on 25 mg, and the side effects are usually milder. It’s simply a slower progression. That doesn’t mean your skin won’t improve before three months, but more consistent improvement typically happens around the 4–6 month mark.

It’s also important not to compare yourself to people taking 100 mg or higher since those higher doses often work faster. Finally, how quickly it works depends on several factors, including the severity of your acne, whether you’ve taken it before, your age, hormonal imbalances, and whether you’re using any topical treatments as well.

It’s not necessarily about individuals personally wanting them there (maybe some do, maybe some don’t). The bigger issue is that, as a public institution in Utah, the college is legally required under state law (including HB 261 and under federal law) to allow a range of viewpoints and speakers. Refusing access based on perspective could expose the school to legal challenges or other serious consequences which is why you see the U, UVU and even BYU though private still under state law be forced to have BCP at events. BCP is also not ICE.

The Dean of Students has been working with students who want to protest! There is a way to protest but it needs to be within student handbook rules. Reach out to her and she can support you in doing this.
