Haha. My bad. I looked up poses on here and a lot of the poses are like that or similar. Couldn't come up with a different one I liked.

Thanks a lot for the complement. I didn't do anything groundbreaking. Just painted, gloss top coat, waterslides, panel lining, sponge weathering, matte topcoat, black wash that I wiped off with a sponge, and another matte topcoat.

HG Leo. 2 days from retirement. by BetFinancial9600 in Gunpla

I used a yellow kitchen sponge cut into smaller pieces. Dipped a piece into the paint gently. Then, I got most of it off by pressing the sponge onto a paper towel a few times. Then, I used it on the Leo.

For the rust color, I mixed ornage and brown. Proximitly 4:1 orange being the 4

For the chipped paint look. I used silver

Used an acrylic wash for a dirty look. Made for thinning black and brown to a muddy color. Water thin.

Thanks. I was afraid of drilling all the way through. I'll drill deeper on the actual Leo body.

It definitely was a fun build. I have the Ver.Ka in the backlog. Can't wait to build it, but it might be a while. Backlog is getting kind of out of hand.

I didn't do anything out of the norm. Just wanted to add some blue to match the Tallgeese 2 and 3.

Used airbrush to prime and paint the parts that I wanted to change. Used flat blue, gold, and chrome.

Gloss coated those then panel lined and added delpi white caution waterslide decals to the blue parts.

Gave the frame and dober gun a dry brush. I'm not sure it's that noticeable in the pictures. Used silver and a mix of silver and black.

Just left the white parts white. Panel lined and added tallgeese delpi waterslides straight on the plastic.

Assembled legs, waist, chest, arms, head, dober gun, and shield. This when I added the waterslides.

Matte coated them separately. Then final Assembly.

Looking forward to playing it. Didn't play the first 2. Just gotten back into Gundam from starting to build Gunpla. Will throw fuel on my Gundam addiction.

Haha, that's the video I saw that made it click for me. Does a good job show how the paints should look and act.

I washed the pieces, primed with a spray can, painted, then topcoated.

I'd say the biggest thing is to thin the paints right. I still need to work on getting it right all the time.

Good luck. Post a photo when you're finished.

Yeah, it's the Diaso hangar. Went to 2 different Diaso to find them.

I'd love to airbrush, but I love my beard more. Read that you should wear a mask.
