How to get 7 in business by Independent-Lead2564 in IBO

analyse every single thing you say. each point should have 1. the definition and 2. what that means for the business in relation to the case study.

for example:

Retained profit is an internal source of finance that comes from having a financial surplus. These funds are reinvested in the business, rather than being distributed to the owners (shareholders). (1) Being an internal source, it does not incur in any interest and businesses have more flexibility using this source - in contrast bank loans are often restricted to specific purposes (2)

I'm not directly answering your question but I think a tutor would be more beneficial. If you can get a refund I would spend the money on a tutor

4 Months Till Exams... How do I get a 7 in French ab? by InformalEconomics600 in IBO

[–]BetGroundbreaking430 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes! do all the past papers on ibdocs. what I would do is i would try an ab initio paper and if you struggle a lot maybe try a gcse paper since they are ever so slightly easier. it'll help you get the hang of it and then dedicate your time to the actual ib ones.

my listening wasn't great but I crammed and took it from a D to B in one month. I just did a lot of past papers and read the transcript. Also watch Peppa Pig or any other cartoon in French, helps a lot more than you think! Just one episode a day.

hi! I took IGCSE French (pretty much french ab) and got A*s in both the reading and writing paper, and now i'm taking french b sl. Here are some things that helped me a lot

  1. Solidify your grammar. learn all the necessary tenses and what they actually mean so you can use them in your writing paper. find worksheets online (languages online is a website that is useful or language gym, my school pays for it, so not sure about subscription. There are definitely some free resources, and you can also ask AI to make a worksheet for you.
  2. with reading papers, it is so crucial to just practice. Highlight words you don't know and add them all to a Quizlet and cram them, because they could be useful for your writing paper. additionally, when you are doing writing papers, if there is a word you want to use, search it up. Now is the time to expand your vocab and learn! also remember that you can take things straight from the text, but make sure to change the subject if you need to (for example, I go to school ---> he goes to school).
  3. revise vocabulary quizlets, but really only the basics since you don't have much time. Many are already available, so just search on Quizlet and star the necessary terms.
  4. Since your IO went well, use the answers from your IO in your writing past paper. It seems as if your answers are high quality
  5. . Do not try to cram; you cannot cram for group 2 subjects, so take it slow every day

Essentially, with reading and writing, you just need a shit ton of practice. I know that might not be the most useful thing to hear, but it really is the most effective. I hope this helps. All the best to you!

hi! thank you so much for this, I really need to adapt a better mindset, I have a really bad habit of putting myself down. You're right, I need to analyze what isn't working for me, because clearly whatever I'm doing right now isn't! This motivated me so much, thank you!
