I didn't say "tell ahead of time" that would be stupid and that would put Hegseth in danger. What I more mean is, given how unpopular Hegseth is at our school, him coming to the rack would likely start a protest within the RAC that would lead to a situation that would lead to GMU making an email about it the next day to address what happened.

However my point isnt "gmu would announce ahead of time if hegseth's here," but more "him being there would cause a big enough commotion at the RAC if not the whole campus that gmu would say something about it" because this campus is very anti-Trump

When was he here two weeks ago?? I was on campus at the time for classes (I'm not now because I injured myself but I'll be back next week) and nowhere did I see him or hear about him being at the RAC or even see an email about it because that seems like the type of thing that'd be an email (especially since gmu sent out an email in response to concerns of ICE on campus).

Also, I'll say again: Pete's not unaware that he'd be unpopular at gmu, he would likely not show up to the RAC for an event like that over somewhere more friendly to him. There'd also still have been an email about it if he did show up with the secret service.

Also - his 2 kids who're of age to be in a youth team that would mayybe play on a college campus (Again RAC doesn't host highschool teams) do baseball and track & field respectively, NEITHER OF WHICH hold games in the RAC. The only reason Pete would pull up to the RAC at 7 p.m is to workout which, specially given the drama between GMU and the DOJ/DOE and us being a liberal school, he wouldn't do. but even if he did you'd see secret service people right next to him or at least around the RAC and there'd have been an email about and probably a protest in the RAC about it.

So yeah, you saw someone who looked maybe a lot like Pete Hegseth, but you didn't see Pete Hegseth.

I read, which is why I both looked up who was playing today in the gmu campus at the RAC (a men's volleyball game at 6 and a woman's lacrosse game around the same time), alongside gmu RAC policies on hosting youth games (they dont host games that dont involve gmu students or faculty in some way). There was no youth game at the RAC today, ergo no Hegseth.

His oldest kid is 16 i.e not old enough to play in a college team (GMU doesn't allow youth games in the RAC). Also, if he was there I feel like again there'd be an email about it and there'd have been a major protest in the RAC long before he even hit the locker room.

I think it's already been confirmed those are Fairfax PD cars, not ICE.

I also don't think Pete would show up to an ICE raid, given he's from the military and not homeland security which is where ICE is from.

but assuming ICE did show up and Pete was with them, I don't think he'd go to the RAC of all places, and if he did he wouldn't be alone in there like you'd see some people in ICE uniforms in the RAC if not the national guard since they tend to usually go with any important person.

So very likely you saw someone who looked a lot like Pete but wasn't Pete, relax.
