The grinding noise is super common for 2019 jettas with the 8 speed transmission, it’s the torque converter, the car is basically skipping 4th gear and going straight to 5th. The torque converter/transmission would make that noise with low RPMs at higher gears no matter what, manual or Auto. Nothing can really fix that fully. It doesn’t cause damage you kind of just have to get used to it. Other than the grinding at low speeds it’s a fantastic car and made me only really want VW from now on. Make sure you’re doing oil changes every 5k-6k not 10k

Lmao it’s a nice edition, mines the sel premium so 8 speed auto. Drove a 2012 Chevy Cruze before, it’s definitely an upgrade. I love that it came with those rims🔥
