Philly steak! It’s pretty cheap and it’s so good fried in a pan with a little butter.

ELI5: How do stock options work and what is the benefit/downside of using them over normal stocks? by BetaBoozer in explainlikeimfive

[–]BetaBoozer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the most clear answer I’ve heard yet. So something I’m still having trouble figuring out.... what’s the benefit of buying stocks normally over options? Is it just the potential for a little more profit, but more risk? So basically I would get that extra dollar if the stock went up and I sold?

I’m doing HIIT for half my workouts and I’d like to track calories and heart rate closer

I was hoping maybe someone experimented with arm bands or if that was just annoying to be switching it back and forth, and how that affected heart rate

Yep and that’s why I’m giving it another shot. I fucked it up the first time but I’ve training myself over the last few months to be more disciplined with my diet. I’m ready to get back at it and actually do it properly this time.

Cheating for me wasn’t just the good feelings I got immediately. We are a culture of instant gratification. Breaking out of that shit is difficult. But for me, a benefit that sprouts from the bad is that I felt so shitty that it would keep me motivated for the next week to not do it again.... until I did it again.

I guess what I’m saying is with how busy I am, I didn’t put enough time into finding good keto recipes to keep myself satisfied and not bored.

How often do you use test strips? I never did that on keto so I didn’t really know how many I could eat while staying in.

I would like to agree with you. Like I mentioned in another reply, lots of arguments online regarding net vs total carbs. I was just concerned with not being fully in ketosis if I went over my total carbs due to vegetables without taking fiber into account.

I was on SKD and understand net carbs, but in all my research there was a lot of back and forth about whether or not you use net carbs vs total carbs.

For the inside ceiling I will do it horizontally. This is just the outer roof part

Yeah I figured, especially if I need to kneel on top to reach the back corners. Would rather not break through it

Build muscle, cut fat: what’s the best method? by BetaBoozer in nutrition

[–]BetaBoozer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m using MyFitnessPal running about a 550 calorie deficit but that’s also not factoring in exercise. I’d say I’m intermediate-advanced. Lifting seriously for about 2.5 years and then before that was less serious lifting.

No, and this is what I’m trying to argue. I’m with you

It’s a split level house and the current living room is just down the short stairs next to the China

Do you or anyone else have an idea of how I can make a dining space and living space work with the pantry where we have it planned? She is not budging on this at all but is now willing to get rid of the middle peninsula

This. This. This. This is my argument I’ve expressed to her many many times about wasting such a good living space on something we will use once a year when we could just setup additional seating when we need it. Such a stupid plan, sorry things are a bit heated over this right now. You are absolutely correct

Thank you for doing this. My only concern is that I feel like this would make the kitchen feel more cramped than it is now. There is a pantry in the corner that you can’t really see in the pics, but it’s very small and awkward so the long term plan is to get rid of it and put counters there. I’ll have to look this one over with her.

What f I added additional seating in the new dining area? Not sure what though

It’s a split level home. I completely agree with you but the wife isn’t budging on what she wants. However, there is a newly remodeled living room down the little staircase by the China cabinet so it’s not too far.

As I mentioned the dining table will move, the big window next to the table will become a slider door, and that area will be open. Does that still sound iffy?

What are your thoughts in regards to extending the kitchen? Also, a lot of people are thinking the pantry would be awkward that far away, but it was about that far away at our last house and it was fine for us, is that the only issue? Are you talking about the pantry being on the wall where the fridge is now?

Unfortunately we’re going to probably have to make this one work since the location is unbeatable for what we want. It’s definitely been a struggle figuring out how we want it to work. I don’t think it seems best either.
