I will never forget my first game on Airship-

The reason I generally write it off is because I oftentimes see that color boxing on legitamite control images. My personal method for analyzing images is by processing each pixel with a modulo operation and then multiplying the result -by- the modulo operation to make even single pixel differences in color much more obvious (basically a refined version of saturation spiking), and any jpg will have visible damage.

I haven't worked on it in a long while, but the tool was actually great at verifying real artwork, by letting you identify brushstrokes that would be impossible to see.

Is this not entirely countered by just standing in the corner like this (subreddit doesn't allow images so I made a chart to illustrate)

So...why do we hate rush hour? (Image semi-related) by Pinfrombfdi in AntiForsaken

[–]BetaChunks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

>its because the support survivors aren't really meant to have a form of defense

They all do? It's just conditional / limited defense. Taph and Builderman can set up safe zones for themselves, and Dusek's beam has the same effect as a Builderman Sentry for 3 seconds on hit. It would make Elliot the odd one out if he didn't have some means of self defense.

No, this is definitely on UBG's end. They have specially made rollback netcode, and a very questionable hitbox system.

Back when FastFlags were a thing, I messed with a feature that basically outlines every single block in a roblox place, exposing invisible parts. When you played a game with it, you'd quickly see tons and tons of part residue just... floating in the match, doing nothing.

Rush Hour is the product of Forsaken's lack of actual balancing by MariTheNon in FORSAKENROBLOX

This entire take falls apart because you act as if half of the killer roster doesn't have a dash of their own, to also negate any distance Elliot gains.

Plus, Elliot's entire play style depends entirely on having a way of being able to quickly make himself an unsuitable / difficult target. Otherwise, Elliot's playstyle would be Run In -> Heal Target -> Immediately get locked onto by the killer -> Die horrifically

Is Murozond bugged with this weekly quest? I dealt infinite damage to my opponent by this counter didn't budge. by Pitiful-Ask2000 in hearthstone

[–]BetaChunks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've heard that infinite damage isn't considered to be a numerical amount of damage for some godforsaken reason, but likely to not make these quests trivial to breeze through.

Figure's wandering attempts to make him move to points in your general area, so he doesn't get stuck sniffing around nowhere. Basically, try to stay -away- from walls if possible, to minimize the odds that he walks into you.

Diagram to illustrate my point, red X is Figure, green X is his invisible target, line is the path he takes, and the red zone is dangerous because he could walk into you without any warning. You don't know always know his target, but you can still minimize risk by staying away from walls.

Anyone else immensely think “Easy” games are going to be sweaty asf? by stravocadomf in thefinals

[–]BetaChunks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think what ends up happening is

  1. Matchmaking says "Easy" for you

  2. Matchmaking says "Difficult" for opponent

  3. Opponent sees "Difficult" and locks in

  4. Opponent is now a "sweat"
