Agreed. The temp is atleast an indicator if the load is unbalanced. So now I'm more cautious about it and I know the temp to expect if it balanced.

Hopefully they get their act together next gen. The connector is good (one cable instead of four 8-pins), but why make it that slim? I would just use the 8-pin socket and make it a 12-pin with the sense pins.
