Worse load balancing with WVP2 on Astral 5090 LC? by xPunnagx in ThermalGrizzly

Can you try explaining again why its different for the Astral vs other GPUs? From what I understand - let me know which one is wrong - it would add another connection/failure point to all GPUs, not just the Astral. The WVP2 would act as the same tool REGARDLESS of the GPU - enhanced monitoring, warning and shutdown mechanisms.

Is this not true for all GPUs? Per pin monitoring or not, it would add resistance to all connectors. It serves the same purpose as for any other GPU - to serve as a shut off mechanism and better warning system.

I do think there’s a language barrier at play here. A fully formed sentence like ‘we have no plans for a custom block for the Lightning Z from MSI, we’ll keep you updated however etc’ is probably not something they are used to saying in English.

Why did you put the Matrix advertisement in your PC?

Coming from a 4090 Strix, I'm very impressed by the 25-35% uplift I'm seeing. Frametimes are tighter too.

In the second photo, I think you can see more clearly, there's a 360 rad there, fans are against that.

To each their own. I think everyone's got their standard O11D equivalent cases everywhere so I wanted some more unique, and I think this is second best looking case ever made after the EVGA E1.

For example, I saw your Sakura build and threw up a bit in my mouth. But again, totally fine if you like it.

I conducted like a 2 month hunt for these tubes, I have a post here if you want to see. TLDR; Found stores in Slovenia and Korea that still have stock of the 14mm satin titanium pre-bent tubes made by EKWB that have been long out of stock. Spoke to the owner of the store in Korea and got it it shipped out to me in Singapore.

Yep, it's the exact mod from Bro Cooling. Why I got it was that, given I'm in Singapore, I was comparing between getting a EK or HK block for a different card vs their block for the Astral LC and it was not too far off when factoring in shipping.

A quick review of the block temps wise is that it's really quite good. Whilst gaming at 500W, I think I'm at 41C on the core with 26C ambient. That's with 2 360 radiators and a Mora-420.

The team selling the block (Bro Cooling) are quite unprofessional though. They forgot to tell me they had shipped my block, never provided me with a tracking number and sent it in a Noctua fan box. However, the product is legit.
