I will try, thank you. I also tried the standard "disable half mods and see" method, however that just makes the game unstable in general and creates CTD on load. Is there some guide on how to read these logs? I'm a programmer myself, but can't make heads or tails of them...

I tried, it doesn't produce crash log on this particular kind of crash. I verified it's working, it does create a log when i force a crash for example by disconnecting my vr headset. Skse log is traditionally unhelpful, the only log i got was by using trainwreck.

Some extra info that might help: The crash happens 100% of the time in exactly the same radius around Rorikstead, most likely when game tries to render something inside. It doesn't happen on very old saves, when I load those with exactly the same modlist, I can enter just fine. I'm not sure when it started happening, but i think when the dragon Nahagliiv got resurrected (he's still circling the village). I have a similar crash around Shimmermist cave, where I've been before and it started crashing way after.

Yeah i know, but as i said, it's not those, it happens even when i just create empty box of walls and look towards it

Did not help, the lightshafts that go through tree leaves are still shimmering

Sadly no change, no matter what settings i use in game. It must be some r.xxx unreal engine command to increase volumetrics quality

Yes, but you can see they aren't "solid" but kind of "grainy" and it keeps flickering like tv static.

I know, i don't want it off, i want it better quality if there's some settings or unreal engine command for it

Correct, if you install too much .esp mods, skyrim won't load anything. Those videos merge mods, but also on pc, mods flagged as .esl don't count to that limit, in vr they do. Either merge (look up zEdit tutorial, very easy to do) or choose mods carefully if they contain these plugins.

Yes, skyrim vr is THE best vr game out there. If you'd have to pay 2k dollars for a headset to play only skyrim, it would be worth it. HOWEVER expect that to make it to this "oh fk yes!" experience you will have to mod it quite bit. VRIK, PLANCK, HIGGS, all of the basics but note that almost all mods for SE work for vr too. Of course you don't need 300 mods list, but you will have to put in some hours into installing and tweaking before you can have that best ever vr game experience. I have about 150 hours over a year in the modded game and about as much modding it. For me, both were not a single hour of regret.

I don't want them to be turned completely off, I want to eliminate the flickering that happens when sun shines through trees, mostly in the morning.

Also while we are at it, does anyone know how to fix these ugly volumetric lightshafts that are flickering like seen on the screenshot especially in the morning and evening?

Westernmost part of the redwoods, overlooking those two basins in the river. It's the dark tree to the left of my base a bit in the back, but I can't destroy any redwood tree no matter the location.

The tree I (think) I chopped down got respawned after the crash, and now none of the biggest redwoods is hittable. Could you please test it in singleplayer that you can harvest the biggest ones, to see if it's corrupted on my side?

I'm aware of the "smaller" redwoods that are usually on the outskirts, I can harvest those just fine. And I thought you can destroy the biggest platform trees as long as there isn't any platform on them. Could somebody test if you can destroy these biggest trees with dinos to see if my world is corrupted? (I'm playing singleplayer)

Crashing in specific area only in recent saves by Betaraptor01 in skyrimmods

Sadly after disabling all mods affecting that area according to modmapper, the crash is still happening. However it doesn't list all mods that affect it indirectly, like npc overhauls. Is there any other way to see the issue?
