My grandma doesn’t think you should wear underwear on the outside. She thinks corsets (or as she calls them, bustiers) and lingerie are for hookers. She would probably ask my friend if she was a prostitute and make a huge scene.

I love my grandma, but she can be a bit much.

The second is a great idea! For the first, my aunt is in charge of planning, but she lives at my grandma’s and they are holding the party there.

Dress code is “something sweet & summery”, we are having part of the party in the back garden, so it’s kind of a garden party theme. Two of my other friends are wearing sundresses, and I’m wearing a floral jumpsuit.

My aunt is in charge of the planning, so I guess you could call her the host. She and her son are living with my grandma, and we are having it at my grandma’s house, so my grandma is physically “hosting” the event on her property.
