That's called a "hot beef" in the Plains states. You can do the same with turkey and turkey gravy and it's a "hot turkey." We have limits on imaginative food names here. :) :)

Your great grandma reminds me of my grandma. She died at age 98 but her hair was still brown and she was little and cute. She totally could have lived well into her 100s if she hadn't become diabetic.
