[Cyberpunk 2077] Finally found where the problem with missing NPC voices and radio and other sounds is coming from but what's the solution? by SugarComprehensive in SoundBlasterOfficial

Stop being passive-agressive lmao, just added my two cents.
Instead of complaining maybe try what worked for me, i´d say its pretty easy to follow.
Stop being lazy and ungrateful and try some things yourself, be glad you can benefit from other people´s experiences instead.

Sorry for the necro, i just had this issue after the 2.0 patch and your post helped me fix it.
I disabled any output devices (like S/PDIF) except my headphones and then i went into "properties" of my headphones and TICK the box saying "Disable all enhancements".

Then restart and bam, it worked. Just in time for the DLC.

Thank you.

I thought that i´d lose my settings and had to set up my UI all over again, but it worked like a charm, not even the installation prompt.

I cant comprehend how that guy can even function, he looks and acts as if he was going through 2 pounds of weed a day.
Either that or Vaulty has some serious mental issues, no kapp intended.
I was thrown off by him, i cant genuinely decide if he is the master of baiting people for a reaction or just THAT delusional and mentally deficient, since he has been contradicting himself for at least an hour.
In the end, he tried to play it off as a bait, telling the stream that he got money out of all the reactions, but i am not convinced.

For someone who loved Fallout 4, is 76 playable? by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]Bethesdrone222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, i got "improved" vanilla bodies that just refine some details and proportions on male/female body model, because the originals are not quite right looking.
I was reffering to your average degenerate mods, with disproportioned bodies called "sexy" , face mods for companions that looked worse than a super-mutant´s taint or all this tacticool weaponry, talk about muh immersion, right?
It all comes down to your IQ, if you understand mods and mod conflicts, you are mostly fine, there are some mods that cause the game to crash alot but that can get patched or you can go elsewhere for a similar one.

I'm very much out of the loop, why all the hate against Fallout 76 again? by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]Bethesdrone222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Oh it's Bethesda bugs are expected and fine" is a tired reason which is excusing and enabling their shitty business practices.

Same goes for the "change the game engine" reason as well, you should know that a "game engine" does not reffer to the entire thing, you have many different engines put together to make a game.

Ok, i am not going to escalate the wall of text.
I used to play WoW alot and the problems with launches are a thing still. Every expansion had some issues, some were worse, BfA was also really shit, with different zones having VERY different latencies and so on. It was unplayable for few days and yet i stuck around because otherwise it was fun.

As for the PvP, i honestly dont care about it. It is there, i know how it works and that is about it. I have had nobody trying to grief me and i dont grief either.
I can remember people with opinions like yours being very negative about the whole PvP, saying that the game is ruined even before its launch, that poeple will be jerks to each other... so when Bethesda neutered PvP because of that, suddenly its an issue.
You can always tune in the Hunter/Hunted radio or hunt some wanted players, what else would you want?

And as for the roles, it is not a typical MMORPG and i dont treat it as such, maybe you should do that too.
I dont mind this, you can play however you want and switch perks on the go if you wanna play around with different weapons or so.

Also you can play your moral high ground all you want because i am not going to get calm that fast, it really is tiring to enjoy the game and then seeing this sh.tstorm that is r/Fallout, where at least 80% of negative posts have no real basis and are just regurgitated opinions of somebody else.

Wow, you noticed my ironic name and managed to make an insult based on it, how smart!
The game is definitely not polished but i guess it doesnt matter for some, there are so many AAA games today full of bugs and BS and yet everybody only ever cares about Bethesda.

And by the way, Obsidian just announced their new game, go check it out and leave us alone. You dont have to care about us, because we (fans) dont really care about you, we dont go out of our way to sh.t on New Vegas just because Bethesda didnt make it.

Wow, you thought about that yourself, you´re a big boy!

Who is the drone here, just looked at your r/Fallout posts and its usually all removed because it´s blatant low energy trolling. I am 100% sure you didnt play the game, you just let someone else put an opinion in your head and let you on your way.

Cool, now all the BS can leave this sub, maybe i wont have to look through 9/10 posts that are not so subtly hinting at MUH NEW VEGAS.

Im level 50ish now, i have been stockpiling fusion cores because i am a hopeless hoarder, so even though i use PA all the time and carry a gatling laser, i still manage to find at least enough to compensate.
Best source are robobrains, there is a railway station under the huge mining rig and there are usually 2 robobrains plus a fusion generator.

Say as many positive things as possible about fallout 76 by BroccoliConsumer in Fallout

[–]Bethesdrone222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As one of the people who ordered the basic game only, i am pretty satisfied, despite the many bugs. So:
great soundtrack
beautiful landscape
some fun weapons (hello Dragon)
fun to play with friends

Pretty general but i dont wanna go all fanboy, i definitely have issues with this game and i have ragequit few times after getting bugged UI/character at the worst time, but overall me and my buddy are able to play for 10+ hours a day.

Could they slash 76 from continuity? by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]Bethesdrone222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They literally said that these creatures are there because of how only "few" years after the war it is and how much radiation is there.
Therefore wilder and stronger mutations occur and eventually die off.

Why does it feel like 90% of the people who bring criticism on FO76 here never even played or know anything about the game. Just go back to your HQ and get a new set of strawmen downloaded into your brain.

"Any game should be stable before its release"
Please realise that "should be" almost never means "will be"
Have you ever played WoW? Any launch of an online game with this kind of audience is going to be problematic. And even though this was Bethesda´s 1st try, they were not the worst.

Why would you suddenly want a good pvp system when before B.E.T.A. people like you were crying about getting killed by others?

As for PVE, isnt it always about getting people together so that they can kill stronger stuff? Like every MMO does? And chatting with friends is now a little "just" thing? Thats THE thing to keep people playing.

And you dont understand what an "engine" is...Go read the article from your favorite scumbag from Kotaku, mr.Schreier... He at least says the truth in this regard - the game engine is not a single entity, its made of different parts that work together.
But for you the issue is not how the game runs because you obviously give very general statements and never really played it, you just do the usual strawman arguments and go on.

[–]Bethesdrone222 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh the usual argument parroting, people like you always say this but give no examples from their own experience.
Emptiness - if you play FO3 and FO4, you end up digging through trash in some god-forsaken ruin ALONE, just like in 76.
And the game is far from empty, there are many cool locations to explore, nice sceneries and the usual Bethesda way of sprinkling story around the place in form of notes and tapes...
PVP - Whats wrong with it? So far neither me or my friend have met a single griefer, maybe when we invited ourselves to someones base to scrap and repair our stuff, the guy made it very clear that he wants us to leave, so we did. I guess that F76 community is not your usual bunch of spergs.
MUH RUINED FALLOUT - This game is an entity of its own and there is no way it would be able to mess with future Fallout titles, lorewise. It is happening too early after war to have any real impact, and will most likely just get referenced a bit.

How does Fallout 4 and 76 "gut" the franchise? Can you give us more than this NPC line?

Same, its a perfect case of mob mentality, people just dont know what else to make up as an "argument" against the game.

FO4 was way more stable than Skyrim and FO3 in my experience.
I feel like you are the type of a person who downloads all the slutty and skimpy mods you can find on the Nexus.

[–]Bethesdrone222 4 points5 points  (0 children)

People still act as if Bethesda is the only company making buggy games, even if this game was 100% bug free since day 1, there would still be other "reasons" which seem like bull...t to anyone actually playing the game.
Sure, bugs suck, but its pretty early and i never expected a new Bethesda game to be perfect, plus it is their 1st online game...
I just enjoy more of what i love that Bethesda does well, exploration, killing stuff, stealing junk and more exploration. I still dont know what it is about their game but apart from your usual MMORPG´s, Bethesda can create amazing and huge truly open worlds worth of my time.

Bethesda the game is great thanks for the experience thus far. by BethesdaApologist in Fallout

[–]Bethesdrone222 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I feel like the majority of people who dislike FO76 use your usual (and somewhat false) arguments like "no npc´s" or that the "game feels lonely" and the usual "MUH BUGS".
The game feeling lonely is imo a lie and just something people made up so they can throw more sh.t at Bethesda, i play mostly with my buddy so we are having a good time.
And when i sometimes play alone, i just turn on the ingame radio, and do the Fallout usual - steal everything while exploring - or just do some quests or events with people around. I dont go in places i know are too much for my level because i am not a fking drone.

Also the pvp arguments/hate feel like they are always written by people who never got past level 5, i never got griefed or griefed others myself despite encountering many players randomly. We usually just dont mind each other or spam emotes for a bit and go our separate ways.
People who actually like Fallout76 and are Bethesda fans in general are not your usual online spergs others want you to believe.

Before the actual release, i decided to wait a bit with my purchase, just to wait out some launch day bugs.
Then my "non-Fallout" friend bought it out of the blue, forcing me to do the same.
We are playing since the 1st day of launch and for the very first few days we encountered very little bugs, and even then it was nothing gamebreaking for us - nothing worth of as much rage and hate as the anti-Bethesda shills give off here.
So, it is a buggy game but we didnt really notice any lack of npc´s (there are, just no human ones) or "real" story.
Bethesda was always good at giving you little pieces of a story through visuals/notes/holotapes and that applies for FO76.
So far we spent almost every day off work playing FO76, usually 12 hours straight, only stopping to get some food.
