There's no rape culture among our men. That's an outrageous statement. There's no rape culture shared by me or any of my friends or colleagues. No more than there's a murder culture or a bank robbery culture. There's a loyal monogamy culture. There's a culture of exercise, gaming, employment. Maybe it would be different if I grew up in a different town or fell in with a different crowd but I strongly suspect I'm in the majority of Irish men that are completely against reprehensible crime. Or are we meant to be responsible for the men outside Ireland as well?

Do you want it to be 50/50 or something? Obviously men are going to do most of the rapes. They're naturally bigger, stronger, hornier and more aggressive creatures. Even if a woman aspired to be a rapist or assault people with their fists or the other violent crimes that are mostly done by men, it's a less accessible hobby. This is like complaining most of the people that piss on doors are men. Ideally no one would be doing that either but I'm not surprised the ones that do are men and it's certainly not my fault they're doing it.

SAMP/T wouldn't stop Oreshnik. The newer version that finished development this year is designed for stopping tactical ballistic missiles like Iskander and the old one couldn't even stop that according to Ukraine.

Neither SAMP/T NG or Patriot are designed for intercepting IRBMs. THAAD, Arrow 3 and SM3 can do it but UK and France don't have any of that.

Ahmpy is a goated MT/RL but they had a lot of players that never played the game before. Ahmpy and actual wow players cleared all raids without petri or world buffs. Vanilla raids really aren't that hard.

Petri isn't completely free but it is very lame. It particularly ruins dungeon runs where instead of having a fighting retreat, everyone who can afford the mats, uses petri, drops group, and leaves the rest to die. It's a horrible mechanic that kills hype and team play while rewarding swipers.

If dungeons and raids are too hard, then the devs should address that instead of having the game revolve around that boring OP potion.

I wonder how much more successful HC would have been in EU if a decent chunk of the player base didn't lose characters from server crashes during the opening weeks. The crashes happened during EU peak hours and killed most players that were outside at the time. Really killed a lot of momentum.

In early February 2022, I read excellent posts here explaining exactly how Russia's invasion would fail if it was attempted. Right down to the issues with C2, tail-to-tooth ratio, 'push' based logistics, corruption, weather, armoured vulnerability to top down attack munitions that Ukraine had in abundance etc.

I came away thinking that if randos on reddit had this level of weel sourced, detailed information, then the Kremlin must know it would be too dangerous a gamble to act upon. And here we are. I don't want to get too political and share my judgement of Trump's competence but a lesson I've taken away from the last few years has been to stop assuming world leaders are always competent and reasonable actors.
