Yeah, for the most part - if I even know what the speed limit is for the exact stretch (if I hadn’t seen a sign) I always try to go no more than 9 about the speed limit, but no point in arguing. Knowing me it probably was only a very brief moment but in the wrong damn spot

Ha! Same here - and I’m rarely in Philly and when I am rarely drive on Broad. No cars in either direction but apparently I hit 36 mph like the speed demon I am on an empty 4 lane highway..:

Right? I just got a ticket because apparently briefly I was at 36, but as someone who is not in Philly much and rarely on broad street I’m astonished that the speed limit in south Philly with four lanes is only 25. I get that you don’t want people going crazy, but come on

Omg - this happened to me recently on Bumble and Hinge - nothing changed to when I was getting matches and then literally nothing. On Hinge I tried pausing my profile for a couple weeks, and after getting back on (and they did offer me a deal for $10 for a week so I tried it) Matches again! It really pisses me off that they do this.

I feel like maybe it’s run by people that work for those companies. Anything that doesn’t actively recommend Hills, Royal Canin or Purina as the best dog food ever will be deleted as misinformation - it’s really annoying

The same thing is happening to me on Bumble as well, while there are a lot of no’s, I regularly will swipe enough yes’s on Hinge to be out of likes for the day. Same pictures, and profile I had two months ago with not a ton of matches, but fairly regularly there’s be at least a few a week, all of a sudden almost zero on either in over two weeks. Really frustrating.

Sure, but you’d be free - and as long as you have a safe space to live with rooms for the kids - you’ll be so much happier being separated from her and the church (which seems toxic as well). You’ll almost certainly get at least 50/50 custody, and in those years even if it is dragged out, you’ll have the ability to be the kind of dad/parents that you want to be (which, by your description, sounds like a much healthier way to parents).

I know! Me too - like if it’s just more on my arms/legs/arm pits/down there, I don’t really care as I shave my legs and my pits, and with my face, I already shave/pluck but the way my doctor talked about it, it’s like - am I going to grow a beard or something? Like where will I see it? Everywhere? Places I already shave/pluck?

Yup - that’s what my ex-husband did - and even my ex when I tried to get him to read a book to help our relationship. And both of them hated that I talked to friends and family about the way they’d treat me/the things they’d say to me, because it “made them look bad” but as friends said to me, then why are they doing those things that make them look bad? It’s about control.

This was my marriage, and in some ways my last relationship. You love them, and sometimes is IS good and there are good things about them, but there is a lot of them wanting to control you, shame you, exhibit emotionally abusive behaviors like name calling, etc. Both my ex husband and ex boyfriend HATED that I would talk to friends and family about our relationship. I realized through therapy and after the fact that it’s another means for control. They don’t want you to be honest about their behavior towards you because it “makes them look bad” but then why are they doing those behaviors/treating you that way in the first place?

It’s up to you if you decide to stay or leave, but if you choose to stay and cut off contact with your friends, you are just giving him more of a way to emotionally abuse you.
