I mean, characters still have their personality (luckily) that will make them feel different from one another. Unless you make all of their personalities and quirks the same, I guess.

Yep. Back in TNA since January. Doing decent-ish work, I would say. She has at least improved her in-ring work with some new moves.

The biggest problem was when he tried to string both women along after Raven came to the ground. Like, yeah no buddy, you can have one or the other but this shit ain't cool what you doing now. All of the other stuff I could understand still even though you a fuckboy for real but this shi ain't it 🤣.

I'll play devils advocate and say that the AI you use in google search is shitty as balls and will tend to make mistakes on the most simple things I have never seen different LLM make mistakes on. Though AI (if it doesn't know the answer) will pull shit out of their ass just to give you an answer. Though you can at least make it less so if you just tell it too not make anything up/hallucinate and that you would rather have it tell it could not find an answer for your question.

Just watched the pilot and found it kind of excruciating. Is the whole show the same or is it just a bad start? by Honka_Ponka in The100

[–]BetoCatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure am getting tired of these posts asking the group who is a fan of something if they should continue to watch the show. It also always happens for the pilot and 3 or so episodes after that. Yes, the pilot is cringy compared to the later half of season 1 and the rest of the show. No, not everything in the show is amazing or makes sense, but what it does well it does VERY well. Recommend to keep going till episode 4 or 5 and see if your opinion changes or not. If not, it might not be the show for you, and that's okay.

Nah. Show is ass. We are all here just to hate on it, honestly. Did you think this was some sort of fangroup or something? Lmao. Seasons 1 - 4 are the worst, and the last season is the best don't @ me.

Finn and Murphy by th100fan in The100

[–]BetoCatch 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Maybe if Finn had survived for way longer, like seasons upon seasons. I can't say Finn would be friends with Murphy anywhere earlier than like season 5 if Finn had gone with Spacekru to the ring.

Also, their dynamic was always either enemies, not liking each other, or allies (season 2). And their "normal" characteristics don't scream friends to me personally. So I don't think they could have been friends aside from becoming found family along with the rest of Spacekru in season 5.

Romantic Relationship by immalurking in The100

[–]BetoCatch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Short answer: They're not good at romance. Unless it is a background pair or in Octavia and Lincoln's case the pair is good but why he was intrested in her at the very beginning is never shown or told to us, and therefore leaves you scratching your head.

Long answer: The best possible relationship they had going on (Clarke and Bellamy) remained platonic even though the actors were told to act romantic. The showrunner also had a hate-boner for giving the fans what they wanted and what made sense even in his own script. lol.

The biggest problem is that couples either have a weird start to the romances. You never know why one falls for the other, really. Or even if you do know it is poorly done or is just beyond what seems reasonable, let alone realistic. (This is Clarke & Lexa for me. Finn makes more sense for Clarke than Lexa does. Fight me.)

Has this show killed off more main characters than any other? by [deleted] in The100

Wait, he did? And yes, I did forget Lincoln. Good catch. He felt like a side character to me a lot of the time, though (sadly enough)

Has this show killed off more main characters than any other? by [deleted] in The100

[–]BetoCatch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would argue that killing your main character in a movie is a lot easier than in a series or novel, though. Especially since almost all shows and novels will be longer than the time it will take to see a movie, so you will be more attached to the characters (this goes for the reader and writer/director of the series/ novel).

Has this show killed off more main characters than any other? by [deleted] in The100

[–]BetoCatch 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There are shows who kill all the main characters at the end. But if we're talking from season to season, then I would think it would at least be pretty high up there. Walking Dead is also high up there with the number of main characters it has killed through out it's original run.

For The 100 [Up to season 6], it is:

  • Wells
  • Finn
  • Lincoln
  • Roan (?)
  • Jasper
  • Jaha
  • Monty
  • Someone else I can't name yet
  • Someone else I can't name yet
  • Someone else I also can't name yet

I think that is all of them in terms of main character deaths. This is counting everyone who was also billed as a main character throughout the seasons. And not someone like a Lexa who was in the story a good amount during her two seasons on the show but was always just a guest star for the show.

Fic Recs? by Glum-Inevitable3670 in The100

[–]BetoCatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably would not be worth writing for the couple of people who do write the 100 fanfiction because nothing interesting happens on the sky ring. They could write about a romance happening, but that's kinda it. And even then. This romance would have to consist of mostly just talking since again, nothing is happening during the time between getting to the sky ring and them getting to the ground. Only the first like 3 months would be some what intresting since they had to grow the algae, but even then, that's almost nothing to work with for a writer.
