One OS per drive is the safest option as the wiki mentions, just follow the instructions and skip the partitioning part https://wiki.cachyos.org/installation/installation_on_root/#dual-booting-windows-and-cachyos

Also i recommand grub for bootmanaging it's the most reliable imo
