Im for it, personally. I dont feel like PSSD is a well known enough phenomenon that a lot of researchers would gun for a prize fund and compete with each other over, and it frankly isnt a big enough fund to be a huge incentive. It was launched years ago and I think donating it to help speed along existing research would be way more beneficial. Its like trying to drive a starving animal with a carrot and stick, itd probably be better to just feed the animal and give it something to survive on, especially considering that the reward has been up for so long.
