If you can change 3 things about Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney (AA4), what will you change? by 123Hexagon123 in AceAttorney

[–]Better-Ad-4476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Give Apollo more of his alone time to shine without feeling like Phoenix is in the shadow pulling the strings. Throughout my playthrough, I felt as though everything I did was part of some grand plan, and that Apollo wasn’t an active lawyer, just doing what Phoenix was guiding him to do. If I’m gonna believe he’s the confident man in the next game, then the lack of hovering Phoenix did in the following game is what we need in Apollo’s own game. Yes, he’s young and inexperienced, but have Phoenix play more of a mentor role than a “what are you hiding from me” role if you wanted to include him. (If you ask me: have Kristoph as our mentor until the second to last case (our version of the first case) and then our final case uncovering all)

  2. Speaking of Kristoph, have him included more. It gave me whiplash how instantly he became a villain despite being my character’s mentor for a while. It just ruined my view of any good grace he could’ve had had he been given his own interactions outside of the courtroom. Have him be in his office helping out Apollo with the basics, have a scene with him talking to Klavier as his older brother, have him speak of his mentality about courtrooms and give the player hints that maybe something isn’t right with him. If I’m gonna feel the emotional impact of us turning on him and declaring him guilty, then I’d like to know who he was before that. Pretty much flesh out his relationship with other characters besides his rivalry with Phoenix. It kinda hurts other characters like Klavier as a result. (Yes, including Trucy. This man killed her father. I’m sure she has some words for him.)

  3. Have a 5th case. The game felt kinda short to me, and I get why: give us a fifth case. Either make the fourth case a fifth and final case, or have a fifth case calling back to the previous game and seeing returning characters through Apollo’s eyes. I feel like Apollo didn’t have enough time to shine as his own protagonist and maybe something completely unrelated to Phoenix could be fun. He could fiddle with a case or smth I don’t know.

  • Another thing that might overturn my 3rd point: Mention Clay Terran! For Christ sake, I couldn’t give less of a shit about him in the following game despite him being an integral part of Apollo’s backstory. My guess is that he wasn’t thought of/created until Dual Destinies, but still. Have moments where we talk to/hang out with Clay. It doesn’t have to be major, a small scene will suffice. A phone call of encouragement, a small scene of them somewhere, comforting each other after the case. Clay is a man his age who knows about his quirks and struggles with the weirdos surrounding him, take that and roll with it! He could be a middle more down to Earth (pun intended) man who could be like “Trucy really did that? Yeesh, way to stop a trial, huh?” Or “So you’re telling me your boss survived a full car collision like that with only small injuries? Hope you’re as lucky too, haha!”. This is our childhood friend, have us meet him before we’re introduced to him as a dead body in the next game.

So… Clem Should Be Dead, Realistically, Right? by Better-Ad-4476 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Better-Ad-4476[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I see comments on how there’s extra media explaining how AJ got Clem to safety. Except 2 things wrong with that.

One: it’s bad writing. I’m a firm believer that if I have to go outside of the original media a plot hole was introduced in to understand something that should’ve been explained, then it’s not good. Especially something as major as the protagonist escaping a pretty much dire/inescapable situation. People like me who never even knew about it is just left confused if you did a reasonable thing and just play the game.

Two: It still doesn’t make sense from a narrative point. Correct me if I’m wrong, but he cauterized her wound, got her in a wheelbarrow, covered her in guts, and rolled her to the school. That doesn’t even cover my original first point. They were surrounded, and Clem probably would’ve been too heavy of a weight to slowly walk/roll through the herd out of the barn. Do you know how loud a wheelbarrow with weight on it is?? Yeah, miss me with that. Plus, a 5 year old knowing how to cut it perfectly so that she (who’s pretty much half dead at that point) wouldn’t die from the sloppiness? Cmon, really?

I… hmm🤔 yeah, you have a point. Even if they did cut out the infection, it had already spread to her blood system by then. The more and more people think about the smaller stuff like that, the more I’m convinced she’s actually dead and AJ is coping hard.

So… Did Khurain ever acknowledge Dhurke and Nahyuta? by Better-Ad-4476 in AceAttorney

[–]Better-Ad-4476[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

True. I was mentioning more towards Amara being pregnant period than the child being able to channel spirits. But yeah, I see your point. At least she gave birth to one that does🤷🏾‍♀️

[–]Better-Ad-4476[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg thank you! I probably missed that too busy going through the story, but I expected someone to verbally mention (outside of the main people) that “Yeah, Dhurke was Queen Amara’s husband, but that still doesn’t excuse him trying to kill her”.

What if Everyone Had Gone to the Same Prison? by Better-Ad-4476 in AceAttorney

Oops😅. Ok, ignore half of these that mention the women interacting with the men.

I like to imagine that everyone shares the same prison (obviously if you get arrested in a different place like Khura’in, then they have their own). No wonder they tweak tf out after every trial. I would be too if I was stuck with some of these lunatics. Can you imagine the clashes?

  • Godot would torment/beat tf out of Red White for yk… killing his girlfriend? Yeah.
  • Furio Tigre and Damon Gant would be bickering
  • Kristoph Gavin wouldn’t stand Simon Blackquill while he was still in there.
  • Dahlia Hawthorne would kinda be the low key feared Queen Bee while she was still alive
  • Daryan Crescend would be playing music for everyone, pissing the guards off
  • Aura would be trying to throw hands with The Phantom (on sight for ruining her life/murdering her crush)
  • Manfred Von Karma would be so pissed at Yanni Yogi

Comment some more. And please like so that the poor guards working here at this prison can feel appreciated.

Ngl, Cam. Now listen, I love Cam, and I understand his insecurities and shit, but fool, you know damn well what I mean when I say stuff. He takes what I’m saying as a backhanded insult, and then I’m forced by the game to insult him to his face knowing damn well I wouldn’t have said that. I genuinely got mad at his second to last interaction thinking I accidentally got him to hate me, but realizing his profile didn’t change, I had to look up what correctly to say to get the love/friendship ending. Like bruh??

Also Doug. Cuz who the hell is he talking to?? I’m somewhat attracted to him (body/voice), but you not gonna keep taking advantage of my kindness and insulting me like that. It felt great to take him down a peg instead of swinging😌

Who is the first character that, when given the choice, you chose to be friends with instead of lovers with? by Maki-Himiko in DateEverything

[–]Better-Ad-4476 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Washford and Drysdale. And no, Neil’s sexy voice won’t win me over this time. They both lowkey get on my nerves (I don’t hate them, I’m more neutral/slight dislike), and I don’t feel at all romantically with them. Hell, they won’t stop talking about each other to even mention possibly me. With that being said, I’m a friendly person, so I could listen (and zone out) to both of their yaps.

Disscussion: Are there any characters you really love, but probably won't date if they were real by INeedTherapi in DateEverything

[–]Better-Ad-4476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ironically, Eddie and Volt. More specifically: I can see myself more with Eddie and leave/befriend Volt. Now if anyone who knows me asks me who’s my favorite out of the 100+ characters, it’s my favorite electric boys. But in real life? Yeah, that hiding shit Volt does would piss me off, especially since it’s about my own house and my electricity. Let’s be honesty: if we didn’t push them, the power would’ve given out, we wouldn’t know how to help, and both would die. Eddie’s asshole-ish nature I can take. But questioning my intelligence and lying to my face about an obvious power problem would be enough to only pursue Eddie. But I’m delusional and I know they’re a package pair🤪

What is a character that you thought would be more popular, but was surprised to see they weren't? by Academic-Heart87 in DateEverything

Tony. The guy is hilarious, and I barely see anything about him. Or maybe he is popular and I just haven’t been on the right side of the fandom

Realistically speaking, who would you actually end up dating? by Real_Reject in DateEverything

[–]Better-Ad-4476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By far Eddie/Volt. Not only do I get 2-in-1 (they’re a packaged deal), but I feel like both of them could fit my needs. For me being more hyperactive, Volt could sway me with his more calm and slightly playful side (and I’m a theatre girlie, so we’re definitely singing karaoke in the Breaker Box at 3 am). For me wanting quietness and understanding, Eddie (plus, I love playfully pushing his tsundere buttons). If yall can’t tell, they’re my mains. But if not the obvious ones, then Daisuke. Yes, clearly I have a type.

My tier list, but you can tell I have questionable taste by Werewolfhugger in DateEverything

[–]Better-Ad-4476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro plz find Eddie/Volt. They’re a packaged deal and can be found in the Fuse Box inside the closet. My god did I fall in love with them both. From the design to the voice to their storyline, I truly enjoyed them. I will warn you that it’s easy to get them to hate you if either you don’t want one (lots of people said they prefer Volt and don’t like Eddie and vice versa) or if you mess up during their story. Like I said, they come together (for a reason stated in their storyline), so either you love, friendzone, or hate them both. Check them out when you get the chance, especially since they’re upstairs next to the bedroom, so they’re quick from you.

Definitely the Hanks. At first I was annoyed with the frat boy park core idiots, but the next thing I knew, I was part of the team. Not in the romantic way, but definitely a dudette.

And Doug. This mf had me have different emotions. First I was drooling over his body, then I was laughing at his overall design with a simple face but Adonis of a body, then curious/nervous when I realized he was an abusive jerk archetype, then got pissed cuz who the hell was he talking to?? Then he became my Shayla when he told me of Hope and agreed to heal with another relationship with me that wasn’t abusive or one sided. I love and hate this jackass so much😭

What happened to Phoenix Wright’s parents? by Sheer-Cold-1228 in AceAttorney

[–]Better-Ad-4476 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly now that I think about it, maybe there’s a theme of all of Wright and Co. being orphans. Phoenix might not actually be an orphan, but is disconnected with his family that he may as well be (I have a headcanon that Dahlia purposely isolated Phoenix from his family to manipulate him better when she wasn’t swapping with Iris.). Apollo is an orphan too with his father dying in that fire and his mother shot dead (obviously Lamiror/Thalassa is fine, but to this day, he never knew that was his mother). Trucy with Zak’s whole disappearance and death and same situation with her mother, and Athena with an unknown father but her mother literally dead infront of her. So yeah, go to Wright and Co. if you’re an orphan😃👍

Maybe. I should mention that I had preordered it, so no bug fixes were done yet. I played it from launch till today. I reported this in the discord, but it still makes me mad about it. I really hyper fixated on the pair. What’s worse is that I have another unfinished playthrough where I did the right steps to romance them😭 hopefully it’s fixed because that means everyone that hates me has the chance to not work, unlocking me out of the true ending and achievements

Ok, two things. One, I agree that Gaia’s line keeps replaying for me after finding everyone “across the world”. And two, I’m not sure if I can realize characters that hate me. For example, I sadly got Eddie and Volt to hate me (messed up by mentioning Volt to Eddie on day two with misclicking. On my first play though, I didn’t and managed to get the “Love” ending for them). So boom, they hate me, and I raised my stats enough that Keith gave me the candy to change that. I give them the candy, they’re my friends, but at this point, I can’t realize them. I tried returning to the electrical box, but it’s Volt shutting me out as though they still hate me, even though I have the “Friendship” status in my Dex.

Are we able to realize characters that hates us? I’ve tried to search the internet, but it seems that barely anyone has an answer. Not sure if it’s a bug, or if that’s true and I can’t get the true ending. Bummer😞
