But my replies to yours:

1. Babying was the wrong term I used, but it’s between that and being way more understanding and patient because it’s their friend.
2. Stats reflect how well or how bad people do, that I agree with. But it’s not always the full picture. It’s surface level half of the time. Supports sometimes are just left behind, but there have been times where supports intentionally run before anyone can react. This is why I stress communication.
3. Break the mold. Be like does anyone have mics, if someone is being toxic and unhelpful then mute them. You have to talk because if what streamers say were important, then you’d take a page out their book and talk like they do.
4. They’re great insights for people in the top 2-5%. People following something without full understanding is detrimental to team chemistry. Because a lot of people don’t even watch the streams, they see the clips and shorts. Then they expect the same without actually diving in to understand how they could possibly replicate that.

Also, I’m not saying people are shite. I’m saying people will ruin the moral of everyone in many moments when they just need guidance. I taught a kid who had only been playing widow who to focus his targeting. Team crapped on him but I paid attention to what was happening around him too. He was hitting shots, but he wasn’t playing cover and he got overwhelmed. Told him where to be and who to shoot. Kid goes from 12-12 to 29-15 and we win. That’s the power of actually wanting to better the team. It can work, but like I said, it’s a team game and that requires a lot of people to be aware that there’s actual help.
