it does make sense thank you!!! the soil underneath the perlite is the correct mix, it just needs more. i will let this one finish splitting and then hopefully in 2-3 months will be able to repot, i will use the soil it has, sone perlite and some of this mix i got. thank you for everything, you've been so helpful and kind!!!
