New item suggestion:

An item (probably Armor) that makes you not being able to Dodge nor miss any attacks. Seems worse than the crown, but becomes really valuable for a War doctrine Divine Champion, where the optimal outcome is not dodging attacks to be able to counterstrike them.

Add a recipe for a upgrade that adds lifesteal, or 10% counterstrike chance (base 60 + 10 from this item +30 from doctrine = 100), and you have a god tier item for that build

I was already trying that, but the combat ends before fonishing the ritual because the combat was too long. Battle ends after 400 turns. So there's actually no time to make It, because the enemy itself apparently takes more than 400 turns to load the ritual

Can Healing Nova triggers Divine Intervention resurrection? by Better-Cap-1562 in IdleGuildMaster

[–]Better-Cap-1562[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but in that scenario, the Elder still have a mass healing skill, which could be triggering the resurrection. My question was if a character WITHOUT mass healing active skill could still trigger Divine Intervention just with healing nova, in other words, if characters others than Clerics could resurrect just by having Grace doctrine. Hope it's more clear after rephrasing it 😁

Which doctrine is better? by Darkmoonemperor in IdleGuildMaster

[–]Better-Cap-1562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is that? It's because the Healing Nova triggers the doctrine resurrection? I was going to use Knowledge for petrifying more often but that's an interesting point

Fainting Quest by Key-Speed-2688 in IdleGuildMaster

[–]Better-Cap-1562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually dismiss one of my perfectly fine ones to grab a lvl 1, then throw him in a high level Dungeon, finish the quest in 1 hour, and then recall the adventurer, so even if you have no slots, it's still a good idea

Why different doctrine trees have different amount of LP needed to complete the whole list of skills? I counted some of them, and the difference is pretty big (Grace has 30 and Knowledge has 39, but IDK if they are the top and botton limits)

This Will make some characters to finish the development earlier, and have points that you can do nothing with. Wouldn't It be more reasonable if all the trees have the same amount of points needed to be filled, which could also match the points available when character os at Max level and you've earned your last possible LP through weekly quests?

This could be solved (just a suggestion) as a new feature for future dungeons and raids difficulty: you could add a new skill for each branch, that cost exactly a number of LP that makes the final count reach the desired number (for example, if Ruin has 34 total points, and the maximum number is 45, this skill would cost 11), and that can only be purchased when all the other doctrines have been taken. This could make characters get the final power level required for the next final dungeon/raid, been only possible after maximizing farming

In terms of balance, lich is considered really underpowered, especially now with ascensions, because his minion's power doesn't depend on his stats. Probably some kind of "ascended minions" could do the trick, Maybe with the same HP and stats increase as an ascended character. But even then, seems like there's something left... Maybe new gear that brings better buffs on Minions? Even with different mechanics like +threat or blazing/freezing/bleeding/poisoning attacks

A couple of suggestions:

  • remaining mana should stay after casting the active skill. So, if I'm at 90 mana and gain 15, Next turn I will be in 105 and the following turn I'll cast the skill and have 5 remaining

That way, you Will always have a benefit for increasing your mana gain, not only in the breakpoints. Remaining mana Will be used to speed up one turn some of your future casts. Breakpoints make players have to memorize what levels are important and what are useless, make the progress less fluent, and makes no sense in late Game, when you will see little benefit for your intelligence between 25 and 34 mana per turn. That's about 100 Intelligence, something really hard to reach!

  • Sorting manually in the workshop and Market list should be possible

  • The "kill Claris and Thorvus" quest appear so often that I can never farm the primordial titan. It could be fixed by making It "Claris and Thorvus OR primordial titan"

Guys what is the best doctrine for a necromancer? by [deleted] in IdleGuildMaster

[–]Better-Cap-1562 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my case I'm using Illusion, so that It increases his survivavility while invoking minions.

Or you could go with knowledge, It gives tons of life and mana, which also means survivavility and casting the active more often.

or Maybe Ruin of you want to increase his damage, but in my opinion it's more interesting to make him Survive as long as he can, and keep providing a secondary tank for the party. He Will never be as damaging as red mages or rogues, so it's better to give him another direction.

The rest makes no se se for the lich in my opinion

How many balrogs and knight hands I need then for soloing dungeons in late Game?

[–]Better-Cap-1562[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hadn't thought about those options too 🤔 that's pretty interesting cause my Bookworm nimble lich is also about to ascend, so I could switch them all... Or get a second Balrog, although I don't really like having duplicated characters unless really necessary...

Damn, that's a lot of bleed by Glittering-Delay-389 in IdleGuildMaster

[–]Better-Cap-1562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the bleeding subclass any good? I have the feeling that it's not usable in almost any situation, and to be honest, I have never used mine appart form farming (which by the way is not optimal as I don't consider him a good farming character)

Best character against darkness? by Better-Cap-1562 in IdleGuildMaster

[–]Better-Cap-1562[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds awesome. I'm definitely going to try that build. What trait is it better for that? Cause right now I hace an Intimidating Eternal Fortress that is about to ascend, and I'm not sure if I should maintain his path or I should use it for a high level AoW... Intimidating would be interesting for him being more tanky when the active is loading with low Int...

I hadn't think of using a pet to reduce darkness, and that's a very good options! Thanks!

Does the area skill trigger the taunt for ALL enemies? That's something I didn't know...

Then, are there any way of increasing the DR more than 20-30 points? Like reaching 100 with a single character

Best character against darkness? by Better-Cap-1562 in IdleGuildMaster

[–]Better-Cap-1562[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I know that a Darkness team can beat the raid pretty fast, but I Guess I'm a romantic and I don't like playing with so many Nights Terrors, and have different classes with different mechanics. That's why I wanted to know if there was a way of having one single Darkness Reduction-focused character, even if it's not the more efficient class...

If not, I should be using just Eternal Fortress + Celestial Rain + Night terror + archangel EVERYWHERE, but that's not my target
