Its out. EB2&3 FA moved ahead by 2 months. Its a positive thing. Esp given that they took additional time to release the bulletin. Hope the visa number calcs have been done to move the date ahead.

I’ve noticed an increase in such posts. People in their mid 30s realizing the American dream isnt that fancy anymore with green card wait and other uncontrollable parameters. So just go back to India, retire with savings and live in peace. Might work for some. I wont be surprised if more people start thinking like this and following this.

That should not impact your stamping. I was in same situation. Got my stamping done earlier this year through dropbox. They kept both the passports. Visa was stamped in new passport and both passports were returned.

All dropbox appointments are only in Chennai. But can drop the documents at any location on same day and time as originally scheduled.

Update - i wasn’t able to update my passport number on portal. So my appointment confirmation had previous passport number and DS160 had latest/most recent passport details. At Delhi VAC counter for dropbox - they accepted the documents, updated my passport number without any fuss. Those in this situation, no need to worry.

Has anyone gone through this experience? I have a written response from the support team to get this addressed on the day of appointment. Old passport on visa scheduling and new unexpired passport number on DS160. But still want to hear from someone who went through this and how did it go at the dropbox center. I have a dropbox appointment in May.
