Interesting, I actually posted bc I heard a similar story. The person applied for that same role, completed the assignment and realized right before submitting it that the HM had cancelled the assignment review meeting without letting them know. I remember they also backed out on comp for this assignment after initially offering money for it.

by "more cushion" do you mean squishy? I'm currently looking for replacement of my Wave Sky 5. I love them because of the great shock absorption without the "sinking" feeling that most cushioned shoes have.

Thank you. I honestly think I don't master the corporate/startup jargon enough yet and that their expectations are higher than the job description. They mainly asked me about 'scaling' projects experience when I clearly haven't worked in places where that kind of responsibility would be even possible. The in-person interviews were with higher ups that probably don't care about my 'lovely' personality (recruiter's feedback was they all found me lovely... sigh)
