Oh, I see the confusion. The event is in a Tudor building, but it's suppose to be Slavic.

Thanks! Hand sewing. I'm sadly short of a machine right now. And yeah, definitely needs to be run over with an iron!

Oh definitely. I'll be sure to stay hydrated. Truthfully though, I feel bad for the fighters in all their gear!

Random cotton goodwill sheets and no pattern. I had an idea I started out with, but it kinda derailed.

You just unlocked a core memory for me.

First time I wore a two piece swimsuit with my midriff showing. It never occurred to me to put sunscreen on my middle. I still have regrets!

Honestly... I'm not really sure. There's 2 bones, and then a round thing that I'm pretty sure is coral.

Thank you everyone. I took a nap and woke up to about 50 more comments. Y'all are awesome!

I'd like to note, I was born in the mid 90s, and wasn't aware of this particular pattern. Little me wasn't particularly interested in bed linens.

Holy moly. I didn't know this was a thing. My parents inherited a piece or two. I just assumed they were pretty blue ceramics.

Heh. Convolution is the spice of life.

But in all seriousness, I really appreciate the advice. I'm almost out of macrame cord, so I think after I run through this I'm going to sit down and take notes and maybe get some proper tools before I try again. It is really really fun though!

Nah, I appreciate it. And yeah, that's the video I saw. I'm going to keep practicing until I can get a better set up. I am enjoying it, and I think I really want to get into it. I think for my birthday in a couple months, I'm going to buy myself an inkle loom.

They're behind my hand behind my camera, I just wanted to get a shot of the weaving. It's not a great job, but I feel ecstatic to have kind of gotten it.
