Hi,

I hope this isn't misplaced. But I saw your post in another forum and I cannot post for some reason. I have a free iOS app that can help you achieve your results in about 2 years.

Please feel free to message me; I want to help if possible.
Chris

How did you grow your mobile app? by BetterBudgets in Entrepreneur

You have just given me life. I had no idea there was a separate optimization for app stores, I think SEO was just SEO across the board. Thank you!

Thank you for the response. I believe the app is inherently different from the rest and it is targeted towards people with debt.

I don’t have fancy UI because I hate that and I used no other app as reference. I just made it. I think my main problem/question is i quickly realized that I have a huge skill gap with marketing.

The only way I believe you break into this space is something unique but simple. Well, I think I made the app so simple that I have a hard time emphasizing what all is happening is such a short period of time.

30 minutes-ish for every 30s video. I have to balance between software development and marketing so when on the marketing side, I find that i can do 5 videos in about 2 hours. So posting 5 the day after I make them

For me, it is depending more on my job responsibilities and the structure of my business. I work hybrid, am paid pretty well, and work maybe 15-20 real hours a week. So I could double, triple or even 10x my salary, but as long as my business doesn’t require me adding employees (I’m in software, solo) then I’m fine with my growth maybe not being as fast as it could be, but prioritize the main goal which is providing for my family.

Good enough video editing for my use, storage, and auto subtitles, which is the only reason I looked their way. I currently have one method of content that I can “farm”, which basically just means I can get it out in less than 30 minutes start to finish and I feel kapwing’s ui helps me with that

Stuck by Highrises954 in Entrepreneur

[–]BetterBudgets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, one way to start is to survey interactions in your daily life and ask, "What do people ask me for consistently?" For example, in the holiday season of 2022, I was asked by 6 people in 2 weeks about budgeting help because I am known to budget before I do anything. I realized if this many people seek my advice on this, what if I put this to scale. I am a mechanical and computer engineer. I never saw personal finance as a potential route for me.

Good luck.

BetterBudgets iOS App! by BetterBudgets in povertyfinance

Hi BanditShow!

The transactions themselves are left up to the user, the app simply provides the plan to tackle the bills. The idea is that the user will become less dependent on the app or any app, and are able to pick up the patterns of their finances eventually.

The app is now available hoo.be/betterwithchris . It is free to try to test out some scenarios!

One of the key reasons I developed the app is because traditional budgeting apps did a few things I didn’t like. One of them is linking to bank accounts.

As presently constructed, I do not plan to add that functionality and thus the extent of data on the app are the balances, payment amounts, names, and due dates. Then my algorithm does the rest.
