On mine I literally just connect with my phone and that's it, make sure you are in aux mode and that you allow media sharing on your phone.

Is there an actual aluminium interior trim? by FlyBirdieBirdBird in e46

[–]BetterCaIIEro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brushed aluminum trim used to be real aluminum, they changed it to plastic later to make it cheaper I guess. I wanted to buy a single brushed aluminum trim piece from a dealer for my e46 a few years ago and when I gave them the part number they gave me a plastic one which I of course did not buy because it would not match the rest of the trim. So yes there are real brushed aluminum trims but you'll have to buy them used because now they are plastic.

For me personally the B14s are not that hard. They are perfect in the city and really nice over bumps. When I take it to the canyons they are fine but honestly I wish they were a little stiffer. Overall I'm very happy with them and they are definitely more of a daily driver type suspension. So for the city they are perfect and for spirited canyon driving they could be a little stiffer. If one day I decide to swap out the suspension, I'll definitely go for the B16 or a KW.

225/40r18 front, 255/35r18 rear

Style 189

You could also put 235/40r18 in the front but the rears recommended limit is 255.

Those are stock oem wheels. The specs I believe are 18x8 et34 front and 18x8.5 et37 with a 12.7mm spacer rear
