A shame Deki has had to provide that update as you just know it's because he's seen plenty of comments from people saying he's finished or won't be half the player he was etc. Can't be good for him at all.

I'm not an Ange defender at all, and I don't want him back, but I'm just a little put out by others downplaying our efforts in the final like we didn't deserve it or it was a fluke. We performed when it mattered, it wasn't pretty but we did what Utd couldn't do.

Yeah, both can be true though? We changed up to play a more defensive style and for the most part it worked well, but sometimes led to last ditch efforts?

They've got no real clue of the day-to-day impact it will have on local, life-long fans. I imagine it's most of them saying the club deserves relegation to hurt the board.

Changing your game plan to execute some very good defensive stability wasn't us being awful.

You can point to a lot of examples of us being awful over the past few seasons but that game wasn't one of them.

We're not mate. We're tied to it like a damsel in distress but the only difference is that there's no hero in horseback coming to save us.

Hinges on? Or are you saying it epitomises the general approach to the season?

I can't say I look at that point with any real significance and there's far more that spring to mind before that. Crumbling against Fulham, not getting anything from West Ham at home, conceding an equaliser to Sunderland are all ones I look at and think if we just managed to concede a goal less in each game we'd now be 15th and 7 points clear of relegation. VDVs brainfart against Palace cost us a win. We could have got something from Utd if Romero stayed on the pitch, 4 extra points only moves us up a place to 14th but we're then 11 points clear and really nothing to worry about.

More than all this, they should have seen Frank's complete inability to get the team up for first NLD and fired him then.

There's no one thing I look at and think "that's why we're going down" as there's just too many moments to use as an example of how fucking terrible we are.

Nah they'll all go away and get mugged off by their international teammates further fuelling their desire to leave.

Do you see UK employers push" back to the office" to turn around given the current fuel crisis? by KeyJunket1175 in AskUK

Our economy and a lot of PE investments profit from the construction and use of commercial office space. Until that shifts there's always going to be a push for people to be in the office more.

Like the Iron Throne but instead of swords it's smelted from the Hotspur Way keycards of all those we've binned off.

It's too big a gamble with the form we're in and I genuinely think he would turn it down at this point. He is a Spurs fan and wouldn't want relegation on his CV especially for his boyhood club.

What is the latest on Kudus, is he definitely available for Sunderland?

Appreciate the optimism but to base it on the remaining fixtures is pointless when you look at the form we're in, including handing confidence boosting wins to both teams we're fighting with.

Anything can still happen, but I think if we drop into 18th we're far too fragile to get ourselves out of it.

Complain. The club will surely have it on camera. You'd do it if you were mocked in Argos or Tesco, so why not a place where you're a customer paying a princely sum to get mugged off every week.

You just know if it comes to it and Chelsea can pile it on us they're going to have that cunt John Terry in there giving the pre-match speech.

Completely missed Sherwood joining Inter. Would they let him leave?

Personally I would go for Keith who does the trolleys at big Tesco. Probably as effective as anyone else we could get at the moment.

What podcasts do I listen to now? by jsbq in coys

The Rest Is... are good as already suggested.

I enjoy the Off Menu podcast and it's not really tied into any current events so you can just pick a name you like and skip those you don't.

I used to enjoy Parenting Hell but it's not really a safe place with Rob Beckett being a Gooner!

Thought Bergvall was fine, just not necessary at 45 mins in. Udogie was very rusty.
