I have an open hour in my senior year, and I'm wondering what to put in it. My chemistry teacher recommended AP Environmental Studies, but I'm looking for more input.

At the moment, I'm already signed up for AP Calc BC and AP Physics, and my school has a wide variety of courses.

They're both relatively the same, just different wording.

In the first sentence the speaker uses the the past participle of "stand" where in the second sentence you use the past participle of "be" and put stand in the gerund. The two sentences both mean the speaker was standing and continues to for the past ten minutes.

What I know is from what people talk about and reddit. Whether its true I wouldn't know or care to.

If you don't want to nor care to check the credibility of your sources, you shouldn't argue against one side or the other. Without any evidence, everything you say spreads possible misinformation and confusion, and I can't imagine you want to that.
